Tengamos como prioridad lo mas importante. || Let's prioritize what's most important.

In this world, we find many distractions. Even those things that seem good can distract us. Let us always choose to have a better relationship with God and make this our priority.

Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." 38 This is the first and great commandment.

Matthew 22:36-38

We recall again the warning the Lord gave the Ephesian brothers regarding their first love. We understand that this fervor or infatuation had disappeared even though, in serving God, they continue to defend the faith.

This warning the Lord gave the Ephesian brothers extends to our days; it is also a warning for us. It is a warning specifically for those Christians who look away from God and believe themselves self-sufficient in their works, believing that somehow their actions can take the place of a fluid and close relationship with the Lord. The Lord, in these moments, desperately cries out: "I do not want or need your works, I want YOU."

When we begin to prioritize other things, little by little our hearts will grow cold; our perspective changes with respect to the things of God, not those activities. And so, we often turn certain activities into idols. Let us keep in mind that an idol is that which takes the place of God.

You shall have no other gods before me.
4 You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me.

Exodus 20:3-5

Let's return to God, let's put the Lord back as a priority in our lives. What's the first step? The first step is to repent and take responsibility for having strayed or prioritized other things. If we have strayed, let's be responsible enough to simply repent and put Jesus Christ back at the center of our lives. Let's rest on his bosom again through the Word of God, study his Word, and pray regularly.

God longs for us to develop an intimate relationship with him daily. Do we have that desire to have an intimate relationship with him? Prioritizing the Lord above all else should be our greatest devotion. If not, we can start right now. We can repent and offer a prayer to God asking Him to rekindle that fire within us. Do you accept the challenge?

En este mundo encontramos muchísimas distracciones, aún aquello que parece ser bueno pueden distraernos, optemos siempre por tener una mejor relacion con Dios y que esto sea nuestra prioridad.

Maestro, ¿cuál es el gran mandamiento en la ley? 37 Jesús le dijo: Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma, y con toda tu mente. 38 Este es el primero y grande mandamiento.

Volvemos a recordar esa advertencia que el señor hizo a los hermanos de Efeso con respecto a su primer amor, entendemos que ese fervor o ese enamoramiento había desaparecido aún cuando sirviendo a Dios siguen defendiendo la fe.

Esa advertencia que el señor hizo a los hermanos de Efeso se extiende hasta nuestros días, también es una advertencia para nosotros. Es una advertencia específicamente para aquellos cristianos que desvían su mirada de Dios y se creen autosuficientes en sus obras, creyendo que de algún modo sus acciones puede tomar el lugar de una relación fluida y cercana con el señor. El señor en estos momento grita desesperadamente: "NO quiero ni necesito tus obras, Te quiero a TI".

Cuándo comenzamos a dar prioridades a otras cosas, poco a poco nuestro corazón se irá enfriando, nuestra mirada cambia con respecto a las cosas de Dios, no esas actividades van cambiando Y así muchas veces convertimos en ídolos determinadas actividades, tengamos en cuenta un ídolo es aquello que toma lugar de Dios.

No tendrás dioses ajenos delante de mí.
4 No te harás imagen, ni ninguna semejanza de lo que esté arriba en el cielo, ni abajo en la tierra, ni en las aguas debajo de la tierra. 5 No te inclinarás a ellas, ni las honrarás; porque yo soy Jehová tu Dios, fuerte, celoso, que visito la maldad de los padres sobre los hijos hasta la tercera y cuarta generación de los que me aborrecen,

Éxodo 20:3-5

Volvamos a Dios, volvamos a poner al señor como prioridad en nuestras vidas, ¿cuál es el primer paso? Lo primero es arrepentirnos y asumir la responsabilidad de habernos desviado o haber dado prioridad a otras cosas, si nos hemos alejado seamos lo suficientemente responsable y simplemente nos arrepentimos y volvemos a poner a Jesucristo en el centro de nuestras vidas, nos recostamos nuevamente sobre su pecho a través de la palabra de Dios, estudiamos su palabra Y oramos regularmente.

Dios desea con ansias que desarrollemos a diario una relación íntima con él ¿nosotros tenemos ese deseo de tener una relación íntima con él? Priorizar Al señor por encima de todo debería ser nuestra mayor devoción, si no es así podemos ahora mismo comenzar, podemos arrepentirnos y elevar una oración a Dios pidiendo que reavive ese fuego en nosotros ¿aceptas el desafío?.
