Nuestro deleite en Dios. || Our delight in God.

He eagerly desires that we find in Him, in a close relationship, the most absolute joy and satisfaction to live it fully in this life and in the next.

10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul will be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has covered me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks me, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Isaiah 61:10

When we talk about delight we are talking about enjoying satisfaction and happiness in an absolute way, we would all like our relationship with God to be like this, is it possible to have delight with God?

We can find delight in the Lord when we entrust our ways to God. This means that we expose our walk, our plans, our desires and thoughts to God so that He can examine even the deepest part of our intentions and work to transform everything that does not fit His desire and purpose in our lives.

This implies that we put all our trust in Him. God is trustworthy, He has given His Son Jesus Christ to save humanity and sinners. God has provided absolutely everything we need in this life to live a full life and delight in God.

32 He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also give us all things with Him?

Romans 8:32

Faith and absolute trust in God allows us to rest in the Lord, we can rest in His perfect work, even when we are restless and we are not trusting God nor are we placing our trust in Him since our humanity is fluctuating and limited, waiting for the work of God is not humanly simple, but God has infinite love and wisdom, He knows much more than us when it is time to act, when the circumstances are given for His will to be carried out and how far we can endure.

Although having a close relationship, delighting in the Lord implies effort, it is an effort based on love and trust, let us remember that we were created to have full joy in the presence of God, that is why God has provided absolutely everything we need to walk by His side, this is an incomparable pleasure to experience during the passage of our life here on earth. Will you miss this opportunity?

Desea ansiosamente que encontremos en él, en una relación cercana el más absoluto gozo y satisfacción para vivirlo plenamente en esta vida y en la venidera.

10 En gran manera me gozaré en Jehová, mi alma se alegrará en mi Dios; porque me vistió con vestiduras de salvación, me rodeó de manto de justicia, como a novio me atavió, y como a novia adornada con sus joyas.

Isaías 61:10

Cuando hablamos del deleite estamos hablando de disfrutar de satisfacción y felicidad en una manera absoluta, a todos nos gustaría que nuestra relación con Dios fuese de esta manera, ¿es posible tener un deleite con Dios?.

Podemos alcanzar el deleite en el señor cuando encomendamos a Dios nuestros caminos, esto significa que expongamos a Dios nuestro caminar, nuestros planes, nuestros deseos y pensamientos para que el examine aún lo más profundo de nuestras intenciones y que trabajen transformar todo aquello que no se ajuste a su deseo y propósito en nuestras vidas.

Esto implica que pongamos toda nuestra confianza en él, Dios es digno de confianza quien ha entregado a su hijo Jesucristo para salvar a la humanidad, a los pecadores, Dios ha provisto absolutamente todo lo que necesitamos en esta vida para vivir una vida plena y deleitarnos en Dios.

32 El que no escatimó ni a su propio Hijo, sino que lo entregó por todos nosotros, ¿cómo no nos dará también con él todas las cosas?

Romanos 8:32

La fe y la absoluta confianza en Dios nos permite descansar en el señor, podemos reposar en su obra perfecta, aún cuando estamos inquietos y no estamos confiando en Dios ni estamos depositando en el nuestra confianza ya que nuestra humanidad es fluctuante y limitada, esperar la obra de Dios no es humanamente sencillo, pero Dios tiene amor y sabiduría infinita, él sabe mucho más que nosotros cuándo es el momento de actuar, cuando las circunstancias están dadas para que se lleve a cabo su voluntad y hasta donde podemos soportar.

Si bien tener una relación cercana, deleitarnos en el señor implica esfuerzo, es un esfuerzo basado en el amor y la confianza, recordemos que fuimos creados para tener gozo pleno en la presencia de Dios, es por eso que Dios ha provisto absolutamente todo lo que necesitemos para caminar a su lado, esto es un placer incomparable para experimentar durante el paso de nuestra vida aquí en la tierra ¿Acaso te perderás esta oportunidad?.
