In life, we encounter problems that can obscure our vision; we lose sight of the path we are on. But when we place all of this in God's hands, His light guides us again and gives us clarity.
I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. 14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.
15 Some, to be sure, preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can add to my chains. 17 But the latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. 18 What then? Nevertheless, in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice, and I will continue to rejoice.
Philippians 1:12-18
The apostle Paul, at one point in his life (one of many), was imprisoned and wrote a letter to the Philippian brothers. It is likely that Paul was chained for 24 hours a day, and not only that, he surely had a soldier guarding him at all times. This wasn't just for a few days or months of his life; this had been going on for two years. Furthermore, the apostle Paul faced a very uncertain future.
Any of us who believe in God, if we were in this situation, would have immediately asked God for freedom. Let us remember that God called him to preach, to make disciples, to reach those who had not yet been reached by the word of God. The Apostle Paul was to reach the Gentiles with God's message. At that very moment, he was trapped, imprisoned in Rome, unable to establish new churches or visit his disciples who were learning through his letters. Today, we might think that Paul had every right to complain about everything that was happening in his life, but later we read his letter to the Philippians and are surprised by the joy it contains.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Philippians 4:8
Let's reflect for a moment on the situation of the Apostle Paul and many others. There are problems that seem endless, so great that they disorient our vision or our sense of direction. We face great challenges that seem insurmountable, and in those moments, in one way or another, God keeps us alive, strong, giving us clarity and keeping us firm in His truth. This is when we learn that God is much greater than any circumstance that seems impossible. God, through His Holy Spirit, gives us the strength to overcome all obstacles (this doesn't mean that God removes obstacles or problems). We fix our eyes on Christ, and the trials diminish, becoming circumstances that teach us something. The trials pale in comparison to all that God has done for us and all that lies ahead, because of the love He has poured out for us and His ability to defend us. Let us always remember that walking under the banner of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have assured victory. Do you believe it?

En la vida nos encontramos con problemas que llegan a oscurecer nuestra visión, llegamos a perder la mirada del camino que estamos recorriendo pero cuando todo esto se lo entregamos en la mano de Dios su luz vuelve a encaminarnos y a darnos claridad.
Quiero que sepáis, hermanos, que las cosas que me han sucedido, han redundado más bien para el progreso del evangelio, 13 de tal manera que mis prisiones se han hecho patentes en Cristo en todo el pretorio, y a todos los demás. 14 Y la mayoría de los hermanos, cobrando ánimo en el Señor con mis prisiones, se atreven mucho más a hablar la palabra sin temor.
15 Algunos, a la verdad, predican a Cristo por envidia y contienda; pero otros de buena voluntad. 16 Los unos anuncian a Cristo por contención, no sinceramente, pensando añadir aflicción a mis prisiones; 17 pero los otros por amor, sabiendo que estoy puesto para la defensa del evangelio. 18 ¿Qué, pues? Que no obstante, de todas maneras, o por pretexto o por verdad, Cristo es anunciado; y en esto me gozo, y me gozaré aún.
Filipenses 1:12-18
El apóstol Pablo en un momento de su vida (uno de ellos de los tantos) estaba preso y escribió carta a los hermanos Filipenses, es probable que Pablo estaba encadenado durante las 24 horas y no solamente eso, seguramente tenía un soldado que lo custodiaba todo el tiempo, esto no ha sido solamente unos días o unos meses de su vida, esto había sido durante dos años, pero no sólo esto, el apóstol Pablo tenía un futuro muy incierto.
Cualquiera de nosotros que cree en Dios y si se visualiza en esta situación lo que hubiese hecho hubiese pedido a Dios libertad inmediatamente, recordemos que Dios lo llamó a predicar, hacer un discípulo para alcanzar a aquellos que todavía no eran alcanzados por la palabra de Dios, el apóstol Pablo debía alcanzar con el mensaje de Dios a los gentiles, en ese mismo momento estaba atrapado, preso en Roma sin poder crear nuevas iglesia o visitar a sus discípulos a los que estaban aprendiendo a través de sus cartas. Hoy nosotros podemos pensar que Pablo tenía absolutamente el derecho de quejarse de todo lo que estaba aconteciendo su vida, pero más tarde leemos la carta a los hermanos de filipense y nos sorprendemos del regocijo que está contiene.
8 Por lo demás, hermanos, todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honesto, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo que es de buen nombre; si hay virtud alguna, si algo digno de alabanza, en esto pensad.
Filipenses 4:8
Reflexionemos un momento en la situación del apóstol Pablo y de muchos otros, existen problemas que parecen ser interminables, tan grande que desorientan nuestra visión o nuestro sentido de nuestro caminar, se nos presentan grandes desafíos que parecen insuperables, y en esos momentos de alguna u otra manera Dios nos mantiene vivos, con fuerza, dándonos la claridad y nos mantiene firmes en su verdad, aquí es cuando aprendemos que Dios es mucho más grande que cualquier circunstancia que parezca imposible, Dios por medio de su espíritu Santo nos da la fuerza para superar todos los obstáculos (no quiere decir que Dios quita los obstáculos los problemas) fijamos los ojos en Cristo y las pruebas se reducen la circunstancias que nos dejan un aprendizaje, las pruebas reducen a muy poco comparando con todo lo que Dios ha hecho por nosotros y todo lo que tiene por delante, por el amor que ha derramado por nosotros y por la capacidad en defendernos. Recordemos siempre que caminando bajo la bandera del señor Jesucristo tenemos victoria asegurada ¿lo crees?.
