We are not exempt from facing trials in our lives at some point. There is no reason to fear, for God has chosen us. His love for us is far deeper than we can comprehend, and it sustains us with complete certainty and security.
1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to exiles of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification by the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
1 Peter 1:1-7
The apostle Peter wrote this epistle to encourage those who were suffering persecution at that time, and he could think of no better way to begin the letter than by reminding them of their position as believers, children of God.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Romans 1:20
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
We are chosen in Christ according to God’s will, and this is the good news: Jesus Christ himself offered his life for all humanity. This means that salvation is for all those who claimed to receive it rationally, demanding it as their savior. And we understand through the Word of God that the key is that God wants to have full communion with His children—today, that is us.
5 He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
Titus 3:5
Here we see the blessing and grace of God. Remember, we are saved not by anything we have done, but by the very grace of the Lord. God has loved us so much since the beginning of creation that He has provided everything we need to have a relationship and communion with Him forever. He has provided the way through Jesus Christ.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
and delivers them.
Psalm 34:7
Here we understand that it's not just simple protection; we are very well protected, and if difficulties arise in our lives, it's because God allows them, but He also keeps us safe in the midst of them. There are times when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, but even then, God is always by our side, accompanying us.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4
This message, written by the apostle Peter, shows us something very simple that we must always keep in mind. There are times when we face complicated and difficult times, but we shouldn't give up. We must know perfectly who we are in Christ, and no matter what our reasons may be, we must always remember that God has chosen us in Christ, giving His Son as a sacrifice, thus demonstrating His great love and protection for us, His children.

No estamos exentos de qué en un momento se presenten las pruebas en nuestras vidas, aquí no hay razón de temer ya que Dios nos ha elegido, su amor por nosotros es mucho más profundo de lo que podemos llegar a entender y eso nos sostiene con total certeza y seguridad.
1 Pedro, apóstol de Jesucristo, a los expatriados de la dispersión en el Ponto, Galacia, Capadocia, Asia y Bitinia, 2 elegidos según la presciencia de Dios Padre en santificación del Espíritu, para obedecer y ser rociados con la sangre de Jesucristo: Gracia y paz os sean multiplicadas.
3 Bendito el Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que según su grande misericordia nos hizo renacer para una esperanza viva, por la resurrección de Jesucristo de los muertos, 4 para una herencia incorruptible, incontaminada e inmarcesible, reservada en los cielos para vosotros, 5 que sois guardados por el poder de Dios mediante la fe, para alcanzar la salvación que está preparada para ser manifestada en el tiempo postrero. 6 En lo cual vosotros os alegráis, aunque ahora por un poco de tiempo, si es necesario, tengáis que ser afligidos en diversas pruebas, 7 para que sometida a prueba vuestra fe, mucho más preciosa que el oro, el cual aunque perecedero se prueba con fuego, sea hallada en alabanza, gloria y honra cuando sea manifestado Jesucristo,
1 Pedro 1:1-7
El apóstol Pedro escribió esta epístola para alentar a aquellas personas que en ese momento estaban sufriendo persecución y no tuvo mejor decisión que iniciar esa carta haciéndole recordar su posición como creyentes hijos de Dios.
Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna.
Juan 3:16
20 Porque las cosas invisibles de él, su eterno poder y deidad, se hacen claramente visibles desde la creación del mundo, siendo entendidas por medio de las cosas hechas, de modo que no tienen excusa.
Romanos 1:20
9 El Señor no retarda su promesa, según algunos la tienen por tardanza, sino que es paciente para con nosotros, no queriendo que ninguno perezca, sino que todos procedan al arrepentimiento.
2 Pedro 3:9
Somos elegidos en Cristo según Dios y esta es la buena noticia, que Jesucristo mismo ha ofrecido su vida por toda la humanidad. Esto quiere decir que la salvación es para todos aquellos que decían recibir de forma racional exigiéndole como salvador de su vida, Y entendemos por medio de la palabra de Dios que la clave está en que Dios quiere tener una comunión plena con sus hijos, hoy somos nosotros.
5 nos salvó, no por obras de justicia que nosotros hubiéramos hecho, sino por su misericordia, por el lavamiento de la regeneración y por la renovación en el Espíritu Santo,
Tito 3:5
Aquí vemos la bendición y la gracia de Dios, no recuerda que somos salvos no por algo que nosotros hayamos hecho sino por la misma gracia del señor, Dios nos ha amado tanto desde el principio de la creación que ha provisto todo lo que necesitamos para tener relación y comunión con él para siempre, él ha provisto el camino a través de Jesucristo.
El ángel de Jehová acampa alrededor de los que le temen,
Y los defiende.
Salmos 34:7
Aquí entendemos que no es una protección simple, estamos Super bien protegidos y si hay dificultades que se presentan en nuestras vidas es porque Dios permite, pero también nos guarda en medio de ellas. Hay veces que pasamos a través de valle de sombra de muerte pero aún así Dios siempre está nuestro lado acompañándonos.
Aunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte,
No temeré mal alguno, porque tú estarás conmigo;
Tu vara y tu cayado me infundirán aliento.
Salmos 23:4
Este mensaje que encontramos escrita por el apóstol Pedro nos muestra algo muy sencillo que tenemos que tener siempre presente, hay momentos en que enfrentamos tiempos complicados y difíciles, pero no debemos tener. Debemos de saber perfectamente quienes somos en Cristo y por más que nosotros tengamos diferentes razones debemos poner por delante siempre que Dios nos ha escogido en Cristo dando a su hijo en sacrificio demostrando así su gran amor y su protección para con nosotros sus hijos.
