La salvación: El regalo para quien lo reciba. || salvation: The gift for whoever receives it.

The gift of salvation is set before men and is available to anyone who wants to believe. Salvation comes through the Lord Jesus Christ.

28 But Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Do yourself no harm, for we are all here." 29 Then he called for a light, rushed in, and trembling, fell at the feet of Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said to them, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" 31 They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." 32 And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them that same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he was baptized with all his family.

Acts 16:28-33

Perhaps, like me, throughout your Christian life you have been faced with hundreds or thousands of questions. At one point in my life, I asked myself, "Can I be saved by simply having faith in Jesus Christ?" There are many other very important questions like this, and the interesting thing is that the Bible, the Word of God, has answers for everything.

God, in His love and faithfulness, gave us the ability and freedom to choose our own path. This allows us to accept or reject the salvation of Jesus Christ. God's desire is very clear in the Word. He desires that we all be saved, but He does not impose anything on us, nor does He force us to do anything, much less to believe. Let's read what He tells us:

17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 Whoever believes in Him is not condemned; but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of God's only Son.

John 3:17-18

God's speech is clear: those who believe will be saved. This gives us the assurance that when we ask the Lord Jesus Christ to be our personal savior, a new birth begins, a new stage in our Christian life begins. From the beginning, God desires to have communion with us and offers us, through Jesus Christ, the opportunity to achieve that full and direct communion with Him.

36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; but whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on them.

John 3:36

Let us keep in mind that just as we have received in ourselves by grace, this is also available to all humanity by grace. This gift is given to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is available to us right now, for us and for anyone who believes in Him. From now on, we begin to have greater eternal security, since we know that from this moment on, we will spend all eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ.

6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

El regalo de la salvación está puesto delante de los hombres y está a disposición de todo aquel que quiera creer, la salvación llega a través del señor Jesucristo.

28 Mas Pablo clamó a gran voz, diciendo: No te hagas ningún mal, pues todos estamos aquí. 29 Él entonces, pidiendo luz, se precipitó adentro, y temblando, se postró a los pies de Pablo y de Silas; 30 y sacándolos, les dijo: Señores, ¿qué debo hacer para ser salvo? 31 Ellos dijeron: Cree en el Señor Jesucristo, y serás salvo, tú y tu casa. 32 Y le hablaron la palabra del Señor a él y a todos los que estaban en su casa. 33 Y él, tomándolos en aquella misma hora de la noche, les lavó las heridas; y en seguida se bautizó él con todos los suyos.

Hechos 16:28-33

Quizás al igual que a mí, durante toda tu vida cristiana se te han presentado cientos o miles de preguntas, en un momento de mi vida me pregunte ¿con solamente tener fe en Jesucristo sea puedo ser salvo?, así como ésta hay muchas otras preguntas de mucha importancia y lo interesante es que la Biblia, la palabra de Dios, nos tiene respuesta para todo.

Dios en su amor y su fidelidad nos dio la capacidad y libertad para que decidamos elegir nuestro propio camino, esto permite aceptar o no aceptar la salvación de Jesucristo, el deseo de Dios es muy claro en la palabra, deseando que todos seamos salvos pero no nos impone y tampoco nos obliga a nada, mucho menos a creer, leamos lo que nos dice:

17 Porque no envió Dios a su Hijo al mundo para condenar al mundo, sino para que el mundo sea salvo por él. 18 El que en él cree, no es condenado; pero el que no cree, ya ha sido condenado, porque no ha creído en el nombre del unigénito Hijo de Dios.

Juan 3:17-18

Habla de Dios es clara, serás salvo aquel que cree, esto nos da la seguridad que cuando le pedimos al señor Jesucristo que sea nuestro salvador personal, inicia un nuevo nacimiento, inicia una nueva etapa en nuestra vida cristiana, Dios desde el principio desea tener comunión con nosotros y nos ofrece a través de Jesucristo alcanzar esa comunión plena y directa con el.

36 El que cree en el Hijo tiene vida eterna; pero el que rehúsa creer en el Hijo no verá la vida, sino que la ira de Dios está sobre él.

Juan 3:36

Tengamos en cuenta que así como hemos recibido en nosotros por gracia, esto también está disponible para toda la humanidad por gracia, este regalo nos es dado por medio de la muerte y resurrección de Jesucristo, lo tenemos disponible ahora mismo para nosotros y para cualquier persona que crea en él, desde ahora comenzamos a tener mayor seguridad eterna, ya que sabemos que desde este momento pasaremos toda la eternidad con el señor Jesucristo.

6 Jesús le dijo: Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.
