I thank God, whom I have served with a clear conscience since my forebears, that I continually remember you in my prayers night and day, 4 longing to see you, remembering your tears, that I may be filled with joy. 5 Recalling the sincere faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.

2 Timothy 1:3-5

If there is anything of great value that we can pass on to the generations, it is our faith. And right now we have the opportunity to pass this faith on to the little ones, to the children, to pass on the conviction that God is who He says He is through His word and that He will fulfill everything He has promised in it. Let's remember young Timothy. He developed a strong relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and this didn't just happen. Timothy grew up with two great examples: his mother and his grandmother. Both were consecrated and testimonies of the Lord's love. And this is an example we can apply to others. We'll look at some ways to leave a legacy of faith for future generations.

The first and most important thing is to transmit and teach the word of God. Children need to know God's vision in all its forms, such as God's vision of wealth, God's vision of needs, and how God can give us direction in life.

Another way we can leave a legacy of faith in the lives of others is by being a good role model. This means that the way we live communicates what we believe about the Lord Jesus Christ. To this we can also add how we serve God reflects how we also serve others; our actions demonstrate the truth of our faith.

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

James 2:26

It is also important to practice intercession and pray for them, since children will never forget that we have them in our thoughts and that they are important to us, especially in our daily prayers. This is part of communicating God's love, and we must exhaust all necessary ways to demonstrate God's love, since it is important to show them that we love them just as God loves them: unconditionally.

It is very important that we be wise in guiding future generations to the feet of Christ. In the word of God, we have many examples, such as the case of Paul. The apostle was not married and did not have children, but for many, he has been a father figure, a spiritual father. And that is the role we can adopt with respect to children.

I am not writing this to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children. 15 For though you may have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you will not have many fathers, For in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. 16 Therefore, I urge you to imitate me.

Tenemos la oportunidad de dejar un legado de fe, solo piensa si tienes un niño o niña cerca, esa es tu oportunidad.

Doy gracias a Dios, al cual sirvo desde mis mayores con limpia conciencia, de que sin cesar me acuerdo de ti en mis oraciones noche y día; 4 deseando verte, al acordarme de tus lágrimas, para llenarme de gozo; 5 trayendo a la memoria la fe no fingida que hay en ti, la cual habitó primero en tu abuela Loida, y en tu madre Eunice, y estoy seguro que en ti también.

Si existe algo de mucho valor que podemos transmitir a las generaciones es nuestra fe, y ahora mismo tenemos la oportunidad de transmitir esta fe a los más chicos, a los niños, transmitir la convicción de que Dios es quien dice ser a través de su palabra y que cumplirá todo lo que ha prometido en ella. Recordemos al joven Timoteo, el desarrollo una fuerte relación con el señor Jesucristo y esto no ha surgido de la nada, Timoteo creció con dos grandes ejemplos, su madre y su abuela, ambas fueron consagradas y testimonios del amor del señor. Y este es un ejemplo que podemos aplicar para con las demás personas, veremos algunas maneras de cómo dejar un legado para las próximas generaciones, un legado de fe.

Lo primero y principal es transmitir la palabra de Dios y enseñarla, los niños necesitan conocer la visión de Dios en todas sus formas como por ejemplo cuál es la visión de Dios acerca de la riqueza, la visión de Dios acerca de las necesidades Y como Dios nos puede dar direcciones en la vida.

De Jehová es la tierra y su plenitud;
El mundo, y los que en él habitan.

Salmos 24:1

19 Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme a sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.

Filipenses 4:19

Fíate de Jehová de todo tu corazón,
Y no te apoyes en tu propia prudencia.

Proverbios 3:5

Otra forma de la que podemos dejar un legado de fe en la vida de los demás es siendo un buen modelo, esto significa que en la forma que vivimos comunica lo que nosotros creemos acerca del señor Jesucristo, a esto también podemos anexar el como servimos a Dios refleja de cómo también servimos a los demás, las acciones demuestran la veracidad de nuestra fe.

26 Porque como el cuerpo sin espíritu está muerto, así también la fe sin obras está muerta.

Santiago 2:26

También es importante llevar a la práctica la intercesión, orar por ellos ya que los niños nunca se van olvidar que los tenemos presentes y que son importantes para nosotros sobre todo en las oraciones diarias, esto es parte de la comunicación del amor de Dios y tenemos que agotar todas las formas necesarias de demostrar el amor de Dios ya que es importante mostrarles que les amamos así como Dios los ama: de manera incondicional.

Es muy importante que seamos sabios para guiar a las futuras generaciones a los pies de Cristo, en la palabra de Dios tenemos muchos ejemplos como es el caso de Pablo, el apóstol no estaba casado y tampoco tenía hijos pero para muchos ha sido la figura de un padre, un padre espiritual, Y ese es el papel que nosotros podemos adoptar con respecto a los niños.

No escribo esto para avergonzaros, sino para amonestaros como a hijos míos amados. 15 Porque aunque tengáis diez mil ayos en Cristo, no tendréis muchos padres; pues en Cristo Jesús yo os engendré por medio del evangelio. 16 Por tanto, os ruego que me imitéis.
