Every situation in which we have difficulties or needs can be a tragic moment or according to our trust in God it can be an excellent opportunity to trust much more in God and thus enjoy his provision.

Then the word of Jehovah came to him, saying: 9 Get up, go to Sarepta of Sidon, and dwell there; behold, I have commanded there a widow woman to support you. 10 So he got up and went to Sarepta. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow woman was there gathering sticks; and he called her, and said to her: I beg you, bring me a little water in a glass, so that I may drink. 11 And as she went to bring it to him, he called her again, and said to her: I beg you, bring me also a morsel of bread in your hand. 12 And she answered: As the Lord your God lives, I have no baked bread; I only have a handful of flour in the jar, and a little oil in a jar; and now he was collecting two logs, to go in and prepare it for me and my son, so that we could eat it, and let ourselves die. 13 Elias said to him: Do not be afraid; go, do as you have said; but make me first of it a small cake baked under the ashes, and bring it to me; and then you will do for yourself and for your son. 14 For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: The flour in the jar shall not fail, nor shall the oil in the jar diminish, until the day the LORD sends rain upon the face of the earth. 15 Then she went and did as Elijah told her; and he ate, and she, and her house, many days. 16 And the flour in the jar did not run short, nor did the oil in the jar dwindle, according to the word that Jehovah had spoken through Elijah.

1 Kings 17:8-16

Absolutely no one likes to go through necessities in life, but from God's perspective this can be an opportunity. When our strength runs out and we don't see any other solution, we give place to God, it may be because we no longer have any more possible human options, that's when God works. In these situations we discover God's provision and how he uses all resources and situations, we recognize God as the source of everything that exists.

We see again Elijah who had learned to live by faith, the ways of the Lord are not easy to travel many times, let's remember that the ravens were the ones who fed him, on this occasion the instrument has been the widow who was hungry and did not have to eat, just as in this case it has also been an opportunity to walk by faith.

Every situation is an opportunity to affirm ourselves more in faith in God. Elijah had witnessed many miracles from God, the many supernatural events in people's lives. On many occasions we need a miraculous intervention on the part of God, in our finances, perhaps God does not work in the way we expect but as on this occasion he supplies our needs.

19 My God, therefore, will supply all your needs according to his riches in his glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

We must fully trust the source of life, not focus on the instrument, God can use multiple means and forms but he and his promises are unalterable, they are forever.

Cada situación en la que tenemos dificultades o necesidades puede ser un momento trágico o bien conforme a nuestra confianza en Dios puede ser una excelente oportunidad para confiar mucho mas en Dios y así disfrutar de su provisión.

Vino luego a él palabra de Jehová, diciendo: 9 Levántate, vete a Sarepta de Sidón, y mora allí; he aquí yo he dado orden allí a una mujer viuda que te sustente. 10 Entonces él se levantó y se fue a Sarepta. Y cuando llegó a la puerta de la ciudad, he aquí una mujer viuda que estaba allí recogiendo leña; y él la llamó, y le dijo: Te ruego que me traigas un poco de agua en un vaso, para que beba. 11 Y yendo ella para traérsela, él la volvió a llamar, y le dijo: Te ruego que me traigas también un bocado de pan en tu mano. 12 Y ella respondió: Vive Jehová tu Dios, que no tengo pan cocido; solamente un puñado de harina tengo en la tinaja, y un poco de aceite en una vasija; y ahora recogía dos leños, para entrar y prepararlo para mí y para mi hijo, para que lo comamos, y nos dejemos morir. 13 Elías le dijo: No tengas temor; ve, haz como has dicho; pero hazme a mí primero de ello una pequeña torta cocida debajo de la ceniza, y tráemela; y después harás para ti y para tu hijo. 14 Porque Jehová Dios de Israel ha dicho así: La harina de la tinaja no escaseará, ni el aceite de la vasija disminuirá, hasta el día en que Jehová haga llover sobre la faz de la tierra. 15 Entonces ella fue e hizo como le dijo Elías; y comió él, y ella, y su casa, muchos días. 16 Y la harina de la tinaja no escaseó, ni el aceite de la vasija menguó, conforme a la palabra que Jehová había dicho por Elías.

1 Reyes 17:8-16

Absolutamente a nadie le gusta pasar por necesidades en la vida, pero desde la perspectiva de Dios esto puede ser una oportunidad. Cuando nuestras fuerzas se acaban y no vemos mas solución damos lugar a Dios, puede ser porque ya no tenemos mas opciones humanas posibles, allí es cuando Dios obra. En estas situaciones descubrimos la provisión de Dios y cómo utiliza todos los recursos y situaciones, reconocemos a Dios como fuente de todo lo que existe.

Vemos nuevamente a Elías que había aprendido a vivir por fe, los caminos del Señor no son sencillos de transitar muchas veces, recordemos que los cuervos fueron quienes le alimentaron, en esta ocasión el instrumento ha sido la viuda que tenía hambre y no tenía para comer, así como en este caso también ha sido una oportunidad para caminar por fe.

Cada situación es una oportunidad para afirmarnos mas en la fe en Dios. Elías había sido testigo de muchos milagros por parte de Dios, los múltiples eventos sobrenaturales sobre las vidas de las personas. En muchas ocasiones necesitamos una intervención milagrosa por parte de Dios, en nuestras finanzas, quizás Dios obra no de la manera que esperamos pero como en esta ocasión suple nuestras necesidades.

19 Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme a sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.

Filipenses 4:19

Debemos confiar plenamente en la fuente de vida, no poner el foco en el instrumento, Dios puede utilizar múltiples medios y formas pero él y sus promesas son inalterables, son para siempre.
