Jesus Christ came to the world and became man not only to know about it, but also so that through him we might know God and have a full relationship with him.

Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going; how then can we know the way?"

John 14:5

As children of God, we understand very well that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, but we also have the responsibility to know what his mission is and how he has fulfilled it, as well as the meaning all this has for our lives. Jesus Christ's purpose was to give us a tangible image of who God is, and most importantly, he took our place by dying on the cross for our sins.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:1

It's amazing to understand that we have an omnipotent and omniscient God who has existed since the beginning of eternity, yet despite all that, He gave up His glory to do His work and live among us. In this way, we were able to see the same God tangibly living among us and having the same needs as us. Through Jesus, we can better understand our God.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we have been invited into an eternal relationship with God. The Bible is very clear that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. To pay for that sin, we had to die to sin. That's why Jesus Christ took our place, dying to take all the sins of humanity upon Himself. And this Jesus Christ, who bore sin upon himself, is the Savior, fully God and fully human, who took our place to save us, thus closing that gap of separation between God and humanity once and for all.

It is utterly impossible for us, in our humanity, to somehow earn salvation; our merits are nothing. That is why we say that God's gift, salvation, has been freely given to us under one condition: that we place our faith and receive Jesus Christ as our only and sufficient Savior.

Jesucristo vino al mundo y se hizo hombre no sólo para saber acerca de él, vino para que a través de él podamos conocer a Dios y tener una relación plena.

Le dijo Tomás: Señor, no sabemos a dónde vas; ¿cómo, pues, podemos saber el camino?

Juan 14:5

Los hijos de Dios entendemos muy bien que Jesucristo es el hijo de Dios, pero también tenemos la responsabilidad de conocer cuál es su misión y como lo ha cumplido, también el significado que tiene todo esto para nuestras vidas. Jesucristo tuvo un propósito de darnos una imagen tangible de quién es Dios y lo más importante es que tomó nuestro lugar al morir en la cruz por nuestros pecados.

En el principio era el Verbo, y el Verbo era con Dios, y el Verbo era Dios.

Juan 1:1

Es impresionante entender que tenemos un Dios omnipotente y omnisciente que ha existido desde el principio de la eternidad, y así con todo eso renunció a su gloria para hacer su mano y vivir entre nosotros. De esta manera pudimos ver al mismo Dios de forma tangible viviendo entre nosotros y teniendo las mismas necesidades que nosotros, a través de Jesús podemos conocer mejor a nuestro Dios.

Porque la paga del pecado es muerte, mas la dádiva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro.

Romanos 6:23

Mediante el sacrificio de Jesucristo hemos sido invitados a tener una relación eterna con Dios, la Biblia es muy clara en cuanto a que todos hemos pecado y estamos destituidos de la gloria de Dios y para pagar ese pecado debía morir al pecado, es por eso que Jesucristo tomó nuestro lugar muriendo así para llevar todos los pecados de la humanidad sobre si. Y este Jesucristo que llevó el pecado sobre si es el salvador Completamente Dios y completamente humano, tomó nuestro lugar para salvarnos, de esta manera cerró esa brecha de separación entre Dios y los hombres una vez y para siempre.

Es totalmente imposible que nosotros desde nuestra humanidad pudiésemos ganar de alguna manera la salvación, nuestros méritos no son nada. Es por eso que decimos que el regalo de Dios, la salvación nos ha sido dada gratuitamente bajo una sola condición. Es depositar nuestra fe y recibir a Jesucristo como único y suficiente Salvador.
