Jesus el cordero de Dios. || Jesus the Lamb of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ chose to give His life in our place; He chose to be a clean and spotless lamb, given as a perfect sacrifice.

16 They will hunger no more, nor thirst any more, neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb who is in the center of the throne will feed them and will lead them to living fountains of water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Revelation 7:16-17

Bees, badgers, foxes, and lions, as well as wild dogs and many other animals, have one thing in common: when they feel threatened, they attack, but the lamb is completely different.

Whenever we encounter or encounter lambs in God's Word, mention is made of a sacrificial animal. This is the case on Passover Day, when God rescued His people from slavery in Egypt by applying the blood of a lamb sacrifice. Now I put myself in the place of the Lord's disciples and imagine how surprised they must have been when John the Baptist presented Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."

Now I think about the history of humanity. If we look at it from the outside, it's completely illogical that a God who created all things would lovingly and for love give himself a sacrifice at the hands of his own creation. Such was the act of Jesus Christ, a vulnerable and at the same time all-powerful Lamb who rules, judges, and triumphs, the slain Lamb.

8 And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 13:8

But this story is unique. We have been people immersed in sin whose salvation was impossible on our own. Someone had to rescue us from the slavery of sin, even dying for us. This is exactly what Jesus Christ, our Savior, did. He is the Lion who came as a Lamb and gave himself willingly to redeem us once and for all, setting us free from sin so that we could love and serve Him for all eternity.

El señor Jesucristo eligió dar su vida en nuestro lugar, decidió ser un cordero limpio y sin mancha dado al sacrificio perfecto.

16 Ya no tendrán hambre ni sed, y el sol no caerá más sobre ellos, ni calor alguno; 17 porque el Cordero que está en medio del trono los pastoreará, y los guiará a fuentes de aguas de vida; y Dios enjugará toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos.

Apocalipsis 7:16-17

Las abejas, los tejones, zorros y leones así como los perros salvajes y muchos otros animales tienen una característica en común, cuando se sienten amenazados atacan, pero el cordero es totalmente distinto.

Cuando en la palabra de Dios encontramos o entran en escena los corderos, se hace mención a un animal para el sacrificio. Es el caso en el día de la Pascua que Dios rescató a su pueblo de la esclavitud de Egipto aplicando sangre del sacrificio de un cordero. Ahora me pongo en el lugar de los discípulos del señor y me imagino cuan sorprendido estarían hechos cuando Juan el Bautista presentó a Jesús como el cordero de Dios que quita el pecado del mundo.

29 El siguiente día vio Juan a Jesús que venía a él, y dijo: He aquí el Cordero de Dios, que quita el pecado del mundo.

Ahora pienso en la historia de la humanidad, si lo miramos desde afuera es algo totalmente ilógico, que un Dios creador de todo se entregue con amor y por amor a un sacrificio en las manos de su propia creación, así fue el acto de Jesucristo, un cordero vulnerable y a la vez todo poderoso que gobierna juzga y triunfa, el cordero inmolado.

8 Y la adoraron todos los moradores de la tierra cuyos nombres no estaban escritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero que fue inmolado desde el principio del mundo.

Apocalipsis 13:8

Pero historia es única, hemos sido personas inmersas en el pecado cuya salvación era imposible con sus propias fuerzas, alguien tenía que rescatarles de la esclavitud del pecado y esto incluso morir por estas personas. Esto es exactamente lo que hizo Jesucristo nuestro salvador. Es el león que vino como cordero y se entregó por voluntad propia para redimirnos una vez y para siempre y hacernos libres del pecado para amarla y servirle a él por toda la eternidad.
