Existen momentos que puertas se cierran. || There are times when doors close.

He is perfect and faithful, and at times He strategically uses those doors that close to redirect us toward His will at the times He considers best.

Then he came to Derbe and Lystra. And behold, there was a disciple there named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek. 2 The brothers in Lystra and Iconium spoke well of him. 3 Paul wanted him to go with him, and taking him, he circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, for they all knew that his father was a Greek. 4 As they went through the cities, they delivered to them the ordinances decided by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem, for the people to observe. 5 So the churches were strengthened in the faith and increased in numbers daily.

6 And going through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. 7 When they came to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of God would not allow them. 8 So, passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas. 9 During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and pleading with him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 After Paul had seen the vision, we made preparations to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

11 So we set sail from Troas and went straight to Samothrace, and the next day to Neapolis. 12 From there we went to Philippi, a Roman colony and the leading city of that district of Macedonia. We stayed there for several days.

Acts 16:1-12

I'm sure that at some point in your life you've prayed for a situation, certain that God would answer your prayers, but simply everything you presented to God and believed would happen didn't. This has happened to me on several occasions.

Let's remember Paul and Sheila, who on their second missionary journey had a very similar experience. After strategically planning their visit, they decided to move to a new location, visiting some established churches. However, the Holy Spirit led them astray, preventing them from entering Asia. They then headed towards Mysia to travel east, and once again the Holy Spirit intervened, closing the door and preventing them from going where they wanted. Perhaps we might think it wasn't God's will, but they intended to do good and share the gospel of the Lord.

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19

At that moment, Paul and Silas may have wondered why God was making it difficult for them to preach the Gospel, since the Lord Jesus Christ himself had established the recommendation that we preach the Gospel to every creature. But at one point, God's answer came in a dream, as God had shown that preaching the Gospel in Greece was much more strategic, since the Gospel would spread much faster that way. After all that, Paul was able to preach the word, reaching Ephesus. We recall that when John spoke in Revelation, at least seven churches had already been established. In this way, we can understand God's plans; these plans are not altered, but perhaps there are restructurings that we are not yet understanding. Even so, God's will is fulfilled.

God can use any situation, even those closed doors where it seems to us that everything is over. God redirects us to His will in perfect timing. All that remains for us is to trust in His omniscience, hoping that He will guide us through His Holy Spirit, and that we alone will obey His will and thus carry out His perfect work.

Es perfecto y fiel y en ocasiones utiliza estratégicamente aquellas puertas que se cierran para reencaminarnos en dirección a su voluntad en los tiempos que él considera los mejores.

Después llegó a Derbe y a Listra; y he aquí, había allí cierto discípulo llamado Timoteo, hijo de una mujer judía creyente, pero de padre griego; 2 y daban buen testimonio de él los hermanos que estaban en Listra y en Iconio. 3 Quiso Pablo que este fuese con él; y tomándole, le circuncidó por causa de los judíos que había en aquellos lugares; porque todos sabían que su padre era griego. 4 Y al pasar por las ciudades, les entregaban las ordenanzas que habían acordado los apóstoles y los ancianos que estaban en Jerusalén, para que las guardasen. 5 Así que las iglesias eran confirmadas en la fe, y aumentaban en número cada día.
6 Y atravesando Frigia y la provincia de Galacia, les fue prohibido por el Espíritu Santo hablar la palabra en Asia; 7 y cuando llegaron a Misia, intentaron ir a Bitinia, pero el Espíritu no se lo permitió. 8 Y pasando junto a Misia, descendieron a Troas. 9 Y se le mostró a Pablo una visión de noche: un varón macedonio estaba en pie, rogándole y diciendo: Pasa a Macedonia y ayúdanos. 10 Cuando vio la visión, en seguida procuramos partir para Macedonia, dando por cierto que Dios nos llamaba para que les anunciásemos el evangelio.
11 Zarpando, pues, de Troas, vinimos con rumbo directo a Samotracia, y el día siguiente a Neápolis; 12 y de allí a Filipos, que es la primera ciudad de la provincia de Macedonia, y una colonia; y estuvimos en aquella ciudad algunos días.

Hechos 16:1-12

Estoy seguro que no algún momento de tu vida oraste por una situación que estabas muy seguro que Dios estaría respondiendo lo que esperaba, pero simplemente todo eso que presentaste a Dios y creíste que sucedería no sucedió, particularmente en mi vida aconteció en diferentes oportunidades.

Recordemos a Pablo y Sheila que en su segundo viaje misionero vivieron una experiencia muy parecida esta ya que después de planear estratégicamente la visita algunas iglesias que ya estaban establecidas en diferentes lugares decidieron moverse a un nuevo lugar. Pero aún así el espíritu Santo les desvió no permitiéndole entrar en Asia entonces fueron en dirección a Mísia para poder ir hacia el este y una vez más el espíritu Santo actúa cerrándole la puerta no permitiéndoles ir donde ellos querían ir. Quizás podemos pensar que no era la voluntad de Dios pero ellos estaban con las intenciones de hacer el bien y de transmitir el evangelio del señor.

19 Por tanto, id, y haced discípulos a todas las naciones, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo;

Mateo 28:19

En ese momento quizás Pablo y Silas se preguntaron por qué Dios les dificultaba la predicación del Evangelio ya que el mismo señor Jesucristo dejó establecido recomendando que prediquemos el evangelio a toda criatura. Pero en un momento vino la respuesta de Dios en un sueño ya que Dios había mostrado que predicar el evangelio en Grecia fue algo mucho más estratégico ya que así el evangelio se transmitiría mucho más rápido, luego de todo eso Pablo pudo predicar la palabra Ignacia llegando a Efeso. Recordamos que cuando Juan habló en apocalipsis ya se habían establecido por lo menos siete iglesias, de esta manera que sucedió podemos entender cuáles son los planes de Dios, estos no se ven alterados pero quizás ahí reestructuraciones que por momento no estamos estamos entendiendo, aún así la voluntad de Dios se cumple.

Dios puede usar cualquier situación aún aquellas puertas cerradas que para nosotros parece que se terminó todo, Dios nos redirige a su voluntad en los tiempos perfecto, de nosotros solamente resta confiar en su omnisciencia esperando así que nos dirija por medio de su espíritu Santo siendo nosotros solamente quienes obedecen a su voluntad Y así llevar adelante su obra perfecta.
