¿Estas preparado para la adversidad? || Are you prepared for adversity?

Life presents difficult moments that seem impossible, but the word of God helps us not to lose faith and to stay focused.

13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be sober-minded; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.

1 Peter 1:13-14

The apostle Peter was aware of everything that could happen, brothers and sisters in the faith. He knew that difficult times would arise, which is why he spoke to them, reminding them of the security they have in God and that they were chosen by God. He reminded them that they have spiritual protection and that through faith they have access to God, being secure in Him. Later, I will give you detailed instructions so you can be prepared for the difficulties that will arise in the future. This isn't just for that time; these words remain relevant for us today as children of God.

Here we understand that where we place our faith and what we believe determines how we face the difficulties that come our way. Thinking correctly, according to what God says in His word, allows us to prepare ourselves and trust that God is watching over us. All of this significantly reduces our fear in the face of difficulties.

This text also commands us to be sober-minded. This means being mature and maintaining balance in the midst of difficulties. It implies not being led astray by magical solutions or deceptive philosophies. The Holy Spirit of God will help us remain faithful and steadfast in the Lord even when we go through the worst difficulties. Now the question is, how can we prepare for the future, especially for the difficulties we must face? The answer is clear: let us dedicate time to the Lord, let us dedicate time to reading and meditating on the word of God, and let us pray to God for help so that His Holy Spirit may guide every step toward the victory that we have assured in God.

En la vida se presentan momentos difíciles en los cuales parecen imposibles, pero la palabra de Dios es la que nos ayuda a no perder la fe y estar enfocado.

13 Por tanto, ceñid los lomos de vuestro entendimiento, sed sobrios, y esperad por completo en la gracia que se os traerá cuando Jesucristo sea manifestado; 14 como hijos obedientes, no os conforméis a los deseos que antes teníais estando en vuestra ignorancia;

El apóstol Pedro era consciente de todo lo que podría acontecer hermanos de la fe, sabría que se presentarían momentos difíciles es por esto que les hablo recordándoles la seguridad que tienen en Dios y que fueron escogidos por Dios, les recuerdo que tienen protección espiritual y por la fe tienen acceso a Dios estando seguros en el. Más tarde les detallo con instrucciones precisas para que estén preparados ante las dificultades que se presentarían en el futuro, eso no solamente para ese tiempo, esas palabras siguen teniendo vigencia para nosotros hoy como hijos de Dios.

Aquí entendemos que donde ponemos nuestra fe y en lo que creemos determina cómo hacemos frente a las dificultades que se nos presentan. Pensar de manera correcta conforme a lo que Dios habla en su palabra nos permite prepararnos Y así confiar en que Dios nos cuida, todo eso hace que se reduzca considerablemente el temor frente a las dificultades.

En este texto también pero encomienda que seamos sobrios en el espíritu, esto quiere decir que seamos maduros y tengamos equilibrio en medio de las dificultades, implica que no nos dejemos llevar por soluciones mágicas o filosofías engañosas, el espíritu Santo de Dios nos ayudará a permanecer fieles y firmes en el señor aún cuando atravesemos las peores dificultades. Ahora la pregunta es ¿cómo podemos prepararnos para el futuro, sobre todo para las dificultades que debemos enfrentar? La respuesta es clara: dediquemos tiempo al señor, dediquemos tiempo a la lectura y meditación de la palabra de Dios y oremos a Dios por ayuda que su espíritu Santo guíe cada paso hacia la victoria que tenemos asegurada en Dios.
