We must understand that even when we are obedient in the smallest matters, in the smallest things, God also blesses us and blesses others.

And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. 7 Then they signaled to their partners who were in the other boat to come and help them; and they came and filled both boats, so that they were sinking. 8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man." 9 For because of the catch they had taken, fear had seized him and all who were with him, 10 and also James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were Simon's companions. We have seen the picture of Peter on the Sea of ​​Galilee. This is an extremely important lesson regarding obedience as fundamental to the Christian life. In this picture, we can discern three very important principles about obedience.

When we follow the guidelines of God's word, even in the smallest details, we are honoring God. Any act or attitude, no matter how small it may seem, as in this picture—Peter simply lent or gave Jesus a space in his boat—resulted in something much more powerful. It resulted in Peter being called to become a fisher of men, and thus the message of salvation would spread to all the Jews and reach us today. A simple act has had, has, and will continue to have a great impact on humanity.

Following the guidelines regarding what God asks of us and what His word demands of us not only benefits us; it has a much broader reach than we can contemplate; it blesses others. This is reflected in Peter's small action and has reached humanity to this day. Let us also remember that when Jesus told Peter to cast his net into the water, his obedience led him to have a great catch, a catch he had never imagined before, something supernatural, just what Peter needed.

There are times when God asks us for things that don't seem to make much sense to us. Let us remember that He didn't ask him to build an ark; He ordered Isaac to offer his son as a sacrifice. Then we also remember that He sent Joshua and instructed him to conquer Jericho. He ordered him to march seven times and on the seventh day to shout, so that the walls of the fortress would be destroyed. Each of these people, and many others, accepted God's plan, questioning or not doing what God asked of them. This trust overcame any obstacle or concern, leading them to the reward God had promised.

God always has a plan for our lives, a plan that is only for our good. For us, it may be foolish, but foolishness is not obeying God. Just like Peter, we may not have the slightest idea of ​​what God can accomplish through what He is asking of us, but we are certain that if we obey what God asks of us, amazing things will happen not only in our lives but in the lives of those around us. Hemos visto el cuadro de Pedro en el mar de Galilea esto yo la lección sumamente importante con respecto a la obediencia como algo fundamental para la vida cristiana, en este cuadro podemos rescatar tres principios muy importante acerca de la obediencia.

Cuándo seguimos los lineamientos de la palabra de Dios, hasta en los más mínimos detalles o en lo más mínimo, estamos honrando a Dios. Cualquier acto o actitud por más pequeño que parezca como es en este cuadro, Pedro simplemente le prestó o le dio un espacio en su barca a Jesús, esto resultó en algo mucho más poderoso, resultó en el llamado de Pedro para que éste se convirtiera en pescador de hombres y así el mensaje de salvación se difundiera todos los judíos y que nos alcance hasta nosotros hoy, un simple acto ha tenido, tiene y tendrá un gran impacto sobre la humanidad.

Seguir los lineamientos con respecto a lo que Dios nos pide y nos demanden su palabra no solamente nos beneficia a nosotros, esto tiene un alcance mucho más amplio de lo que nosotros podemos contemplar, bendice a otros. Esto se ve reflejado en la pequeña acción de Pedro y ha alcanzado hasta hoy a la humanidad. Recordemos también de que cuando Jesús le dijo a Pedro que eche la Red a las aguas, es obediencia lo llevó a tener una gran pesca, una pesca jamás ante pensada, algo sobrenatural, justo lo que Pedro necesitaba.

Hay veces que Dios nos pide cosas y para nosotros parece no tener mucho sentido, recordemos que no le pidió que construyera un arca, le ordenó a Isaac que ofrezca su hijo en sacrificio, después también recordamos que envió a Josué y le guijo para que este conquiste Jericó, le ordenó a qué de siete vueltas y que el séptimo día grite, y así los muros de la fortaleza se destruirían. Cada uno de estos personajes y muchos otros aceptaron el plan de Dios, cuestionando o no hicieron lo que Dios les pidió y esta confianza superó cualquier obstáculo o cualquier preocupación conduciendo así a la recompensa que Dios les había prometido.

Dios siempre tiene un plan para nuestras vidas, un plan que solamente es para nuestro bien, para nosotros puede ser una insensatez, pero la insensatez es no obedecer a Dios, así como Pedro quizás no tenemos ni una idea de lo que Dios puede llegar a hacer a través de lo que nos está pidiendo pero si tenemos certeza que si obedecemos de lo que Dios nos pide, sucederán cosas impresionantes no sólo en nuestras vidas sino en la vida de las personas que nos rodea. ¿Tienes alguna duda?.
