In life, we will go through trials, and in them, what we truly believe will be revealed. That is why trials are an opportunity to exercise our faith in God.

15 When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, "Perhaps Joseph will hate us and pay us back for all the evil we did to him." 16 And they sent word to Joseph, "Your father gave orders before his death, saying, 17: 'Thus you shall say to Joseph: Please forgive the wickedness of your brothers and their sin, for they treated you so evil. Therefore, please forgive the wickedness of the servants of the God of your father." And Joseph wept while they were speaking. 18 His brothers also came and worshipped him and said, "Here we are, your servants." 19 And Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid; am I in the place of God?" 20 You intended evil against me, but God intended it for good, to accomplish what we see today, the saving of many people. 21 Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will sustain you and your children. Thus he comforted them and spoke to their hearts.

Genesis 50:15-21

For several days now, we have been talking and reflecting on the importance of keeping our eyes fixed on God, even in the most difficult moments. When we do this, we discover that in these storms of life, God is working for us.

Peter stood and warmed himself. And they said to him, "Are you not one of his disciples?" He denied it and said, "I am not." 26 One of the servants of the high priest, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, said to him, "Did I not see you in the garden with him?" 27 Peter denied it again. And immediately the rooster crowed.

John 18:25-27

God works to redirect our beliefs. When circumstances beyond our control arise, our faith is tested and at the same time reveals how much trust we have in God. This is the case with Joseph, for God used this time of adversity for his good. Unlike the apostle Peter, who was afraid, his fear led him to deny Christ three times. Each person takes the path that seems best to them, but adversity is an opportunity for growth and strengthening of our faith. It is up to us to make the right choice and set our sights on Jesus.

Times of adversity allow us to be transformed, because as children of God with the Father, He desires to reflect the life of Christ in us. God desires to use these times of difficulty to transform us day by day into the image of His Son.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

2 Corinthians 1:3

God, through the Holy Spirit, gives us comfort, and just as we receive it, it is also necessary to comfort others in the faith. Adversities may originate in our sinful behavior, they may come from other people, the enemy may be behind them, or they may even be permitted by God Himself. Whatever the source, God turns everything for our good, and thus, as we bless others, let us bear witness to God's goodness in this world that suffers without reason.

En la vida pasaremos pruebas y en ellas se revelarán en lo que verdaderamente creemos, es por eso que las pruebas son una oportunidad de ejercer nuestra fe en Dios.

15 Viendo los hermanos de José que su padre era muerto, dijeron: Quizá nos aborrecerá José, y nos dará el pago de todo el mal que le hicimos. 16 Y enviaron a decir a José: Tu padre mandó antes de su muerte, diciendo: 17 Así diréis a José: Te ruego que perdones ahora la maldad de tus hermanos y su pecado, porque mal te trataron; por tanto, ahora te rogamos que perdones la maldad de los siervos del Dios de tu padre. Y José lloró mientras hablaban. 18 Vinieron también sus hermanos y se postraron delante de él, y dijeron: Henos aquí por siervos tuyos. 19 Y les respondió José: No temáis; ¿acaso estoy yo en lugar de Dios? 20 Vosotros pensasteis mal contra mí, mas Dios lo encaminó a bien, para hacer lo que vemos hoy, para mantener en vida a mucho pueblo. 21 Ahora, pues, no tengáis miedo; yo os sustentaré a vosotros y a vuestros hijos. Así los consoló, y les habló al corazón.

Génesis 50:15-21

Desde hace unos días venimos hablando y reflexionando acerca de la importancia que tienen que pagar tengamos nuestros ojos nuestra mirada puesta en Dios aún en los momentos más difíciles, y cuando hacemos esto descubrimos que en estas tormentas de la vida Dios está obrando nuestro favor.

Estaba, pues, Pedro en pie, calentándose. Y le dijeron: ¿No eres tú de sus discípulos? Él negó, y dijo: No lo soy. 26 Uno de los siervos del sumo sacerdote, pariente de aquel a quien Pedro había cortado la oreja, le dijo: ¿No te vi yo en el huerto con él? 27 Negó Pedro otra vez; y en seguida cantó el gallo.

Juan 18:25-27

Dios obra en redireccionar nuestras creencias ya que cuando se presentan esas circunstancias que se escapan de nuestro control es puesta a prueba nuestra fe y al mismo tiempo revela cuanta confianza tenemos en Dios. Es el caso de José que Dios usó este tiempo de adversidad para su bien y a diferencia del apóstol Pedro quien tuvo temor, el miedo lo llevó a negar a Cristo tres veces. Cada uno toma en el camino que mejor le parece pero la adversidad es una oportunidad de crecimiento y fortalecimiento de nuestra fe, está en nosotros decidir correctamente y poner nuestra mirada en Jesús.

Los tiempos de adversidad nos permiten una transformación ya que como hijos de Dios con el padre desea reflejar la vida de Cristo en nosotros. Dios desea utilizar esos tiempos de dificultad para transformarnos día tras día a la imagen de su hijo.

3 Bendito sea el Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, Padre de misericordias y Dios de toda consolación,

2 Corintios 1:3

Dios, a través del espíritu Santo nos da consuelo, y así como nosotros recibimos también es necesario consolar a otros en la fe. Las adversidades pueden tener su origen en nuestra forma de actuar pecaminosa, pueden provenir de otras personas, el enemigo puede estar detrás de ellas o aún pueden ser permitida por el mismo Dios. Sea el origen que sea, Dios torna todo para nuestro bien y así también bendecir a otros, testifiquemos de la bondad de Dios en este mundo que sufre sin razón.
