Luke 15:11-32

When we choose the path that takes us away from God, the path of death that really separates us from God, like the example or case of the prodigal son, we also have the same opportunity, to be able to respond to change, to obey. The voice of the Holy Spirit can take us home again and so the abundant grace and mercy of God awaits us to restore and make all things new and give our lives a restart.

El centro, el corazón del Evangelio es la resurrección de nuestro señor Jesucristo y nos promete que por la fe nosotros también seremos partícipes de la resurrección en el regreso del señor, pero esto es solamente una parte de todas las promesas qué por ejemplo podemos observar a través de esta parábola muy conocida.

1 Tesalonicenses 4:16

El hijo pródigo después de haber recibido toda su herencia pensó que podría elegir el camino que deseaba, por esta razón también se propuso malgastar todo lo que tenía y su vida quedó similar a la muerte, sin dinero y solo, en un momento seguramente recapacitó y se dió cuenta que la satisfacción no era por ahí, la satisfación y la plenitud estaba en casa.

Esta necesidad de plenitud movió al hijo pródigo a regresar al hogar, quizás no pensando en que toda su vida sería restaurada ya que por un momento se conformó con vivir como si fuera un sirviente de su padre, pero el solo hecho de haber regresado y estar en la casa de su padre era suficiente y para el padre el hecho de haber recibido nuevamente a su hijo justificaba la abundante gracia, recordemos lo que dijo su padre: "Y traed el becerro gordo y matadlo, y comamos y hagamos fiesta; 24 porque este mi hijo muerto era, y ha revivido; se había perdido, y es hallado. Y comenzaron a regocijarse".

Cuándo optamos por el camino que nos aleja de Dios, por el camino de muerte que realmente nos aparta de Dios así como el ejemplo o el caso del hijo pródigo, también tenemos la misma oportunidad, poder responder al cambio, obedecer a la voz del espíritu Santo nos puede llevar a casa nuevamente y así nos espera la abundante gracia y misericordia de Dios para restaurar y hacer todas las cosas nuevas y dar un reinicio nuestras vidas.
