The Love That Surpasses Knowledge
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16 that he may grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, 19 and to know the love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 3:13-19

The Apostle Paul left us some writings about the need to trust in the power of Jesus Christ. He left us a written promise that the Lord had said: "My grace is sufficient for you."

9 And he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."

2 Corinthians 12:9

Paul, although a great leader and example of faith, in God's eyes was more deserving of God's grace than any of us. We can experience the same confidence in God's power, just as the Apostle Paul expressed it. When Paul decided to trust in the Lord by receiving Jesus Christ as his only and sufficient Savior, he was immediately accepted as a child of God. His sins were forgiven, and he was empowered by the Holy Spirit so he could begin his work in the service of the Lord.

Galatians 1:15

Let us recall that moment or period of time when Paul was in prison. To help him endure that time, the Holy Spirit gave him mental and physical strength. And at the same time, He placed in his heart the fervent desire of each believer to attend to the apostle's needs.

Philippians 4:18

Let us recall the moment when the Holy Spirit filled the apostle with courage to speak about Jesus to the Roman guards. Paul trusted God completely and thus found the strength he needed. As a result, he always used his faith. Like the apostle, we too serve the same almighty God. This exposes us and leaves us without excuse before God. Thus, we must accept His plan and live a life that expresses the Lord's love and power.

El apóstol Pablo nos dejó unos escritos acerca de la necesidad

El apóstol Pablo nos dejó unos escritos acerca de la necesidad de confiar en el poder de Jesucristo, nos ha dejado escrita una promesa que el señor había dicho: "bástate mi gracia".

9 Y me ha dicho: Bástate mi gracia; porque mi poder se perfecciona en la debilidad. Por tanto, de buena gana me gloriaré más bien en mis debilidades, para que repose sobre mí el poder de Cristo.

2 Corintios 12:9

Pablo aún siendo un gran líder y referente de la fe, a los ojos de Dios era un merecedor más de la gracia de Dios como cualquiera de nosotros. Nosotros podemos experimentar teniendo la misma confianza en el poder de Dios tal como el apóstol Pablo lo expresaba. Cuando Pablo decidió confiar en el señor recibiendo a Jesucristo como único y suficiente Salvador, fue aceptado como hijo de Dios inmediatamente. Sus pecados fueron perdonados siendo investido con el poder del espíritu Santo para que pudiera iniciar su trabajo al servicio del señor.

15 Pero cuando agradó a Dios, que me apartó desde el vientre de mi madre, y me llamó por su gracia,

Gálatas 1:15

Recordemos ese momento o lapso de tiempo en el que Pablo estuvo en prisión, para ayudarle a soportar ese momento el espíritu Santo le dio fortaleza mental y física. Y al mismo tiempo puso en el corazón el deseo ferviente de cada uno de los creyentes de atender las necesidades del apóstol.

18 Pero todo lo he recibido, y tengo abundancia; estoy lleno, habiendo recibido de Epafrodito lo que enviasteis; olor fragante, sacrificio acepto, agradable a Dios.

Filipenses 4:18

Recordemos el momento en que el espíritu Santo lleno de valor al apóstol para hablar de Jesús a los guardias romanos. Pablo confío plenamente en Dios y así obtuvo la fortaleza que necesitaba, como consecuencia siempre hizo uso de su fe. Al igual que el apóstol nosotros también servimos al mismo Dios todo poderoso esto nos expone y nos deja sin excusa delante de Dios y así aceptar su plan y vivir una vida que exprese el amor y el poder del Señor.
