EL poder para vivir por fe. || THE power to live by faith.

The key to living by faith and not by feelings is to take time to meditate on the word of God.
24 Some days later, Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, and called Paul and heard him speak about faith in Jesus Christ. 25 But when Paul was speaking about righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix was alarmed and said, "Go now; but when I have an opportunity, I will call for you." 26 He also hoped that Paul would give him money to release him; therefore, he often summoned him and spoke with him. 27 But after two years, Felix received Porcius Festus as his successor; and Felix, wanting to win favor with the Jews, left Paul imprisoned.
Acts 24:24-27
There are times when we think that some things, like delays, are not important, and we convince ourselves of this and think that what we postpone does not harm anyone. However, this pattern can generally become harmful over time. We see in the previous text that Governor Felix postponed making a decision about Christ and ultimately turned his back on Him.
It is important that we change our attitude toward moments of decision-making, moments of hesitation. Let us pay attention to the moments when we postpone action. Delaying decisions before taking action cannot dominate our lives; we must turn away from it.
It is important that we live with the determination to choose what is best, using the Word of God to make decisions, leaving aside the comfort of always being in doubt. The Word of God declares us new creatures in Christ Jesus, free from sin.
5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has set us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1
Let us remember that in Christ we find our strength; through his resurrection we find grace and life; our weakness becomes strength in Christ. In Christ we have victory.
If we order our lives and align them with what the Word of God says, living by faith instead of living by feelings, by what we feel at one moment or another, the Lord Jesus Christ will help us. The Holy Spirit of God will give us the strength to make the decision and put aside hesitation, to be determined and decide for what is best for us.

La clave para vivir por fe y no por sentimientos consiste en dedicar tiempo para meditar la palabra de Dios.
24 Algunos días después, viniendo Félix con Drusila su mujer, que era judía, llamó a Pablo, y le oyó acerca de la fe en Jesucristo. 25 Pero al disertar Pablo acerca de la justicia, del dominio propio y del juicio venidero, Félix se espantó, y dijo: Ahora vete; pero cuando tenga oportunidad te llamaré. 26 Esperaba también con esto, que Pablo le diera dinero para que le soltase; por lo cual muchas veces lo hacía venir y hablaba con él. 27 Pero al cabo de dos años recibió Félix por sucesor a Porcio Festo; y queriendo Félix congraciarse con los judíos, dejó preso a Pablo.
Hechos 24:24-27
Hay veces que pensamos que algunas cosas no son importantes como las demoras y nos convencemos de ello y pensamos que lo que nosotros posponemos no perjudica a nadie, pero generalmente este patron puede volverse perjudicial con el tiempo, vemos en el texto anterior al gobernado Felix que pospuso la toma de decisión sobre Cristo y finalmente le dio la espalda.
Es importante que cambiemos de actitud en cuanto a los momentos de toma de decisión, el momento de vacilación, prestemos atención los momentos en que posponemos la acción, dilatar las decisiones ante la toma de acción no pueden dominar nuestras vidas, debemos apartarnos de ello.
Es importante que vivamos con decisión de optar por lo mejor, utilizando la palabra de Dios para la toma de decisiones, dejando de lado la comodidad de estar siempre en dudas. La palabra de Dios nos declara nuevas criaturas en Cristo Jesús, libres del pecado.
5 Estad, pues, firmes en la libertad con que Cristo nos hizo libres, y no estéis otra vez sujetos al yugo de esclavitud.
Gálatas 5:1
Recordemos que en Cristo hallamos nuestra fortaleza, por medio de su resurrección hallamos gracia y vida, nuestra debilidad pasa a ser fortaleza en Cristo. En Cristo tenemos la victoria.
Si ordenamos nuestra vida y la alineamos a lo que dice la palabra de Dios viviendo por fe en lugar de vivir por sentimientos, por lo que sentimos en un momento u otro, el señor Jesucristo nos ayudará, el espíritu Santo de Dios nos dará la fortaleza para tomar la decisión y dejar de lado la vacilación, ser determinados y decidir por lo que es mejor para nosotros.
