Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is the only way that allows us to relate to God in a close, clear, and transparent way.
3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” 3 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.” 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.
John 3:1-8
Today's story is surely very familiar. In this text, we recall Christ's encounter with the Pharisee Nicodemus, a teacher and member of the Sanhedrin. The Sanhedrin was the council responsible for ensuring that God's law was fulfilled by interpreting all its teachings.
But Nicodemus, observing that Jesus performed signs far beyond human understanding and ability, came to Jesus to ask questions. He came at night when no one could see him. It was then that Jesus told him, "Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Let us remember that Nicodemus trusted fully in his religion and his morality, yet he was still drawn to the person of Jesus Christ and his works. Surely Jesus' words must have surprised him.
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6
This is very similar to our lives. At some point, we have identified with Nicodemus, believing that our good conduct or being religious guarantees us a place in heaven. If we believe this to be the case, we are completely mistaken, since the Word of God teaches something entirely different. The Word of God clearly shows us that we have all sinned, and that sin separates us from God. Even so, the Bible also shows us the solution: there is only one way to God, and it consists of faith in Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
The Lord Jesus Christ made it very clear to Nicodemus that He did not come to condemn the world but to save each and every one of those who believe in Him. This same word is given to us today so that we may fully trust in the grace of God who saved us from the penalty of sin through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ once and for all. In this way, we can live in You, my love, Your freedom, serving Jesus Christ until the day of His return.

La fe en nuestro señor Jesucristo es el único camino que nos permite relacionarnos con Dios de una manera cercana, clara y transparente.
3 Había un hombre de los fariseos que se llamaba Nicodemo, un principal entre los judíos. 2 Este vino a Jesús de noche, y le dijo: Rabí, sabemos que has venido de Dios como maestro; porque nadie puede hacer estas señales que tú haces, si no está Dios con él. 3 Respondió Jesús y le dijo: De cierto, de cierto te digo, que el que no naciere de nuevo, no puede ver el reino de Dios. 4 Nicodemo le dijo: ¿Cómo puede un hombre nacer siendo viejo? ¿Puede acaso entrar por segunda vez en el vientre de su madre, y nacer? 5 Respondió Jesús: De cierto, de cierto te digo, que el que no naciere de agua y del Espíritu, no puede entrar en el reino de Dios. 6 Lo que es nacido de la carne, carne es; y lo que es nacido del Espíritu,[a] espíritu es. 7 No te maravilles de que te dije: Os es necesario nacer de nuevo. 8 El viento[b] sopla de donde quiere, y oyes su sonido; mas ni sabes de dónde viene, ni a dónde va; así es todo aquel que es nacido del Espíritu.

Seguramente la historia de hoy es demasiado conocida, en este texto recordamos el encuentro de Cristo con el fariseo Nicodemo quien era un maestro miembro del sanedrín. El sanedrín era ese consejo que estaba a cargo de asegurar que la ley de Dios sea cumplida interpretando todas las enseñanzas de la ley.
Pero Nicodemo al observar que Jesús realizaba señales que iban mucho más allá del entendimiento humano la capacidad humana. Nicodemo vino hacia Jesucristo hacerle preguntas pero vino de noche cuando nadie podría verlo, es así cuando Jesucristo le dijo: "El que no naciera de nuevo no puede ver el reino de Dios". Recordemos que Nicodemo confiaba plenamente en su religión y en su moralidad pero aún así se sintió atraído por la persona de Jesucristo y sus obras, seguramente las palabras de Jesús le habrán sorprendido.
6 Jesús le dijo: Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.

Esto se asemeja mucho con nuestras vidas, en algún momento nos hemos identificado con Nicodemo creyendo que nuestra buena conducta o el hecho de ser religioso nos garantiza un lugar en los cielos. Si creemos que esto es así estamos totalmente errados ya que la palabra de Dios enseña algo totalmente diferente, la palabra de Dios nos muestra claramente que todos hemos pecado y ese pecado nos separa de Dios. Aún así la Biblia también nos muestra la solución, sólo existe un camino hacia Dios y consiste en la fe en Jesucristo.
Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna.

El señor Jesucristo le dejó muy claro a Nicodemo que él no vino a condenar al mundo sino a salvar uno a uno a aquel que en él cree, esta misma palabra hoy nos entrega a nosotros para que confiemos plenamente en la gracia de Dios que nos salvó de la paga del pecado a través del sacrificio de Jesucristo una vez y para siempre, de esta manera podemos vivir en ti mi amor tu libertad sirviendo a Jesucristo hasta el día de su regreso.
