After the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to instill love in our hearts. Although He would not be physically with us, He left the Comforter so we could experience it in Him.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Cloven tongues like fire appeared to them, resting on each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Although we read this picture on the day of Pentecost, it was not exactly the first appearance of the Holy Spirit, as we have mentioned it from the beginning of creation when the world was formed. We also have it mentioned in the Gospels, such as the baptism of Jesus Christ. In today's passage, the Holy Spirit arrives with a new mission, continuing to this day.

We see in the Scriptures, beginning in the Active Testament, that the Holy Spirit empowers and equips people for very specific tasks, such as giving wisdom or skill in the arts. Let us remember that Bezalel was enabled by the Holy Spirit to become the chief architect of the tabernacle.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 "See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3 And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 4 to devise designs, to work in gold, in silver, and in bronze, 5 and in cutting stones to set them, and in carving wood, to work in all manner of craft.

Exodus 31:1-5

We can see many other situations in which the Holy Spirit works in specific ways, such as when the leaders needed administrative help in the book of Numbers chapter 11, when the warriors faced formidable tasks, as in the case of Judges 6, or even those men who were called to proclaim the word of God.

The relationship between God's Holy Spirit and the believer is not one that changes. The Lord Jesus Christ mentioned in the gospel that the Holy Spirit dwells in you and will be in you. The Holy Spirit was with them for a long time, but would dwell in believers after Jesus' ascension.

From the moment that Pentecost is recorded, every believer has received the Holy Spirit, this dwells in the believer and there the word is fulfilled that we are grafted branches and the spirit is the wisdom that equips us and energizes us being part of a whole, of the body whose head is Jesus Christ.

Después del ascenso del señor Jesucristo al cielo, ha enviado al espíritu Santo para que el amor en nuestros corazones y aunque él no estaría físicamente con nosotros dejó el consolador para que vivamos la experiencia en él.

Cuando llegó el día de Pentecostés, estaban todos unánimes juntos. 2 Y de repente vino del cielo un estruendo como de un viento recio que soplaba, el cual llenó toda la casa donde estaban sentados; 3 y se les aparecieron lenguas repartidas, como de fuego, asentándose sobre cada uno de ellos. 4 Y fueron todos llenos del Espíritu Santo, y comenzaron a hablar en otras lenguas, según el Espíritu les daba que hablasen.

Si bien leemos este cuadro en el día del Pentecostés, no fue exactamente la primera aparición del espíritu Santo ya que lo tenemos mencionado desde el principio de la creación cuando el mundo todo lo que existe era formado, también lo tenemos mencionados los evangelios como por ejemplo el bautismo de Jesucristo. En el pasaje de hoy llega el espíritu Santo con una nueva misión hasta el día de hoy.

Vemos en las escrituras ya desde el activo testamento que el espíritu Santo capacitada y habilita a las personas para tareas muy concretas y específicas como por ejemplo daba sabiduría o habilidad en las artes. Recordemos Bezalel que el espíritu Santo le ha permitido convertirse en el principal arquitecto del tabernáculo.

Podemos ver muchísimas otras situaciones en la que el espíritu Santo obre de manera específica como cuando los líderes necesitaban ayuda administrativa en el libro de números capítulo 11, cuando los guerreros enfrentabas tareas formidables como es el caso de jueces seis o sino también aquellos hombres que eran llamados

La relación del espíritu Santo de Dios y el creyente no es que cambio, el señor Jesucristo mencionó en el evangelio que el espíritu Santo mora en vosotros y estará en vosotros. El espíritu Santo estuvo durante mucho tiempo con ellos pero moraría en los creyente después de la ascensión de Jesús.

Desde el momento que se registra en el Pentecostés cada creyente ha recibido el espíritu Santo, este mora en el creyente y ahí se cumple la palabra que somos ramas injertadas y el espíritu es la sabia que nos equipa y nos Energiza siendo parte de un todo, del cuerpo cuya cabeza es Jesucristo.
