Dios recompensa en esta vida también. || God rewards in this life too.

There is a question we must ask ourselves daily: Are we honoring God with the gifts He has entrusted to us?

For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his ability; and immediately he went on a far country. 16 The one who had received five talents went and traded with them and made five more talents. 17 Likewise the one who had received two talents also made two more. 18 But the one who had received one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money. 19 After a long time, the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 Then the one who had received five talents came and brought five more talents, saying, "Master, you delivered five talents to me; Here I have gained five more talents over them. 21 And his lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant! Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter into the joy of thy lord. 22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two more talents over them. 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant! Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter into the joy of thy lord. 24 But he that had received one talent came and said, Lord, I knew that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not scattered seed. 25 Therefore I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the ground: behold, thou art thine. 26 His lord answering said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 Therefore, you should have given my money to the bankers, and when I came, I would have received what is mine with interest. 28 Therefore take the talent from him and give it to him who has ten talents. 29 For to him who has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:14-30

Just imagine that you are standing before the Lord and one of the best things we could ever hope to hear from His mouth is: "Well done, good and faithful servant." Just imagine a picture in this situation of how admirable it would be to be acknowledged in this way by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

This explains the importance of stopping for a moment and examining ourselves: Is my life a life that God would commend? To do so, let's examine ourselves in the following areas and find our own answer.

Are our thoughts, our minds, thinking about the Lord? No one has their thoughts focused on the Lord 100% of the time, but we do have the ability to direct our thoughts to the Lord when making a decision, or facing a specific circumstance, that is, to keep our thoughts focused on Jesus. If our thoughts are focused on the Lord Jesus, surely our desires will not be either. It is important to listen to the voice of the Lord, seek His ways, and walk in them. In this way, His will is fulfilled in our lives. How do we do this? Through the daily reading of His word, we nourish other thoughts and desires that are centered on Him.

As a consequence, our actions will be the result of our thoughts and desires focused on the Lord. In this way, if we want to walk in His ways and have His will fulfilled in our lives, it will practically be the result of all of the above. We can live a harmonious life according to our thoughts and desires focused on the Lord.

5 But whoever keeps His word, in him truly the love of God is perfected; by this we know that we are in Him.

1 John 2:5

Here we can also talk about the time we dedicate to the Lord. Again, we must not fall into the trap of thinking about the Lord 24/7, reading His word or working only on His work. Dedicating time to the Lord is part of all of the above: praying, reading His word, meditating on Him, keeping our thoughts focused on the Lord. Let all of this be part of our daily lives. Dedicate time to the Lord instead of things that have no value or that don't contribute to who we are as children of God.

God invites us to be stewards, managers of everything He has placed in our hands. Every day, every second, every decision we make contributes to our reward on this earth at every moment, and above all, contributes to our eternal reward. Let us be intelligent, let us think about the folly of living outside of God, let us live with the hope of hearing the Lord say, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Hay una pregunta que nos tenemos que hacer a diario ¿estamos honrando a Dios con los dones que ha confiado en nosotros?.

Porque el reino de los cielos es como un hombre que yéndose lejos, llamó a sus siervos y les entregó sus bienes. 15 A uno dio cinco talentos, y a otro dos, y a otro uno, a cada uno conforme a su capacidad; y luego se fue lejos. 16 Y el que había recibido cinco talentos fue y negoció con ellos, y ganó otros cinco talentos. 17 Asimismo el que había recibido dos, ganó también otros dos. 18 Pero el que había recibido uno fue y cavó en la tierra, y escondió el dinero de su señor. 19 Después de mucho tiempo vino el señor de aquellos siervos, y arregló cuentas con ellos. 20 Y llegando el que había recibido cinco talentos, trajo otros cinco talentos, diciendo: Señor, cinco talentos me entregaste; aquí tienes, he ganado otros cinco talentos sobre ellos. 21 Y su señor le dijo: Bien, buen siervo y fiel; sobre poco has sido fiel, sobre mucho te pondré; entra en el gozo de tu señor. 22 Llegando también el que había recibido dos talentos, dijo: Señor, dos talentos me entregaste; aquí tienes, he ganado otros dos talentos sobre ellos. 23 Su señor le dijo: Bien, buen siervo y fiel; sobre poco has sido fiel, sobre mucho te pondré; entra en el gozo de tu señor. 24 Pero llegando también el que había recibido un talento, dijo: Señor, te conocía que eres hombre duro, que siegas donde no sembraste y recoges donde no esparciste; 25 por lo cual tuve miedo, y fui y escondí tu talento en la tierra; aquí tienes lo que es tuyo. 26 Respondiendo su señor, le dijo: Siervo malo y negligente, sabías que siego donde no sembré, y que recojo donde no esparcí. 27 Por tanto, debías haber dado mi dinero a los banqueros, y al venir yo, hubiera recibido lo que es mío con los intereses. 28 Quitadle, pues, el talento, y dadlo al que tiene diez talentos. 29 Porque al que tiene, le será dado, y tendrá más; y al que no tiene, aun lo que tiene le será quitado. 30 Y al siervo inútil echadle en las tinieblas de afuera; allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.

Mateo 25:14-30

Sólo imagina que estás delante del señor y una de las mejores cosas que podríamos arreglar escuchar de parte de su boca es: "bien, buen siervo y fiel", sólo imagine un cuadro en esta situación como lo admirable que sería ser reconocido de esta forma por el mismo señor Jesucristo.

Por ellos la importancia de detenernos un momento y examinarnos nosotros mismos ¿es mi vida una vida que Dios elogiaría? Para ello examinémosnos en las siguientes áreas y encontremos nuestra propia respuesta.

Nuestros pensamientos, nuestra mente, ¿está pensando en el señor? No existe persona que la 24 del día tenga sus pensamientos enfocados en el señor 100% pero si tenemos la capacidad de direccionar nuestros pensamientos al señor frente a una toma de decisión, frente alguna circunstancia determinada, es decir: que nuestro pensamiento esté centrado en Jesús. Si nuestros pensamientos se centran en el señor Jesús, seguramente también nuestros deseos no estarán, es importante escuchar la voz del señor, buscar sus caminos y andar en ellos y de esta forma su voluntad se cumple en nuestras vidas ¿cómo lo hacemos? A través de la lectura diaria de su palabra, de esta forma nos alimentamos otros pensamientos y deseos se centran en el.

Como consecuencia nuestros hechos serán el resultado de nuestros pensamientos y nuestros deseos enfocados en el señor, de esta forma si queremos andar en sus caminos y que cumpla su voluntad nuestras vidas, será prácticamente el resultado de todo lo anterior, podemos vivir una vida armoniosa conforme a nuestros pensamientos y nuestros deseos enfocados en el señor.

5 pero el que guarda su palabra, en este verdaderamente el amor de Dios se ha perfeccionado; por esto sabemos que estamos en él.

1 Juan 2:5

Aquí podemos hablar también del tiempo que dedicamos al señor, nuevamente no debemos caer que debemos estar las 24 horas pensando en el señor leyendo su palabra o trabajando en su obra solamente, dedicarle tiempo al señor es parte de todo lo anterior, orar, leer su palabra, meditar en él, tener los pensamientos enfocados en el señor, que todo esto sea parte de nuestro diario vivir, dedicarle tiempo al señor en lugar de cosas que no tienen valor o que no nos aportan a lo que somos como hijos de Dios.

Dios nos invita a que seamos administradores, mayordomo de todo lo que has puesto en nuestras manos, cada día, cada segundo, cada decisión que tomamos hacen a nuestra recompensa en esta tierra en cada momento y sobretodo hace a la recompensa eterna. Seamos inteligentes, pensemos la insensatez que es vivir fuera de Dios, vivamos con esa esperanza de escucharle decir al señor pero "bien, buen siervo y fiel".
