Dios no pausa su obra en nosotros. || God does not pause his work in us.

We know that God's timing is perfect; let us be patient because He is working on our behalf.

For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus and sought to kill Him because He was doing these things on the Sabbath.[a] 17 Jesus answered them, "My Father is still working, and I am working." 18 For this reason the Jews sought to kill Him all the more, because He not only broke the Sabbath,[b] but also claimed that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

19 Jesus then answered and said to them, "Very truly I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does likewise." John 5:16-19

Throughout God's word, we find many times that God is working in people's lives. Sometimes God's work is very visible, even dramatic, as in the case of the miracle that happened before the people of Israel during the Exodus, when the waters of the Red Sea parted like two walls and the people crossed on dry land. There are also times when it seems that God is doing minimal or almost nothing for us. Let's remember the scene where Martha and Mary, desperate for their brother's critical health, sent a message to Jesus asking him to come. Their friend, however, was delayed longer than they expected.

The sisters then sent word to Jesus, saying, "Lord, behold, the one you love is sick." 4 When Jesus heard this, he said, "This sickness does not lead to death, but for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it." 5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. 6 When he heard that he was sick, he stayed two days longer in the same place where he was.

John 11:3-6

The Lord has left us the Holy Spirit to be our faster and, above all, to carry out God's work for us, so that we too, in the power of the Holy Spirit, may act in favor of what God wants to do through us. The Holy Spirit also gives us the ability to understand, to discern all things, especially when God is working in us and through us. In this way, we must also allow ourselves to understand and develop patience to recognize that God's timing is not our timing, that God does not always act only as we wish. If we want an example of this, let's look at the life of Abraham, when he already had a promise from God that he would have a large family. However, he had to wait several years with his wife, and when they were old, they were able to give birth to the first of the children who would mark a before and after in all of human history in terms of the number of their descendants.

For this child I prayed, and the Lord gave me what I asked for. 28 Therefore I dedicate him to the Lord; all the days of his life he will be the Lord's.
And there she worshipped the Lord.
A Song of Hannah 2 And Hannah prayed and said:
My heart rejoices in the Lord,
My horn is exalted in the Lord;
My mouth is enlarged over my enemies,
For I have rejoiced in your salvation.

1 Samuel 1:27-2:1

We see the picture of Hannah giving birth to her son. This shows us that what God does can fill them with joy and bring us great delight. Let us not forget that God's plan can also include moments that we truly dislike. We have several examples of this, and one of them is that of Joseph. Before he took a position of authority and relevance among the leaders, Joseph had been sold by his brothers, handed over as a slave, and then imprisoned in the most unjust way. But throughout that time, God was working in him. It was a moment of learning and formation.

There is no different way for us to cope with what, for us, are the worst situations. Even in the most difficult times, we are encouraged and strengthened when we recognize that behind everything that happens, God is always working in our favor and only for our good.

Sabemos que el tiempo de Dios es perfecto, tengamos paciencia porque él está obrando a nuestro favor.

Y por esta causa los judíos perseguían a Jesús, y procuraban matarle, porque hacía estas cosas en el día de reposo.[a] 17 Y Jesús les respondió: Mi Padre hasta ahora trabaja, y yo trabajo. 18 Por esto los judíos aún más procuraban matarle, porque no solo quebrantaba el día de reposo,[b] sino que también decía que Dios era su propio Padre, haciéndose igual a Dios.

Juan 5:16-19

A lo largo de la palabra de Dios encontramos en múltiples ocasiones que Dios está trabajando en las vidas de las personas, en algunas ocasiones la obra de Dios es muy visible, hasta llegar a ser dramática, como es el caso del milagro que sucedió frente al pueblo de Israel en el éxodo y cuando las aguas del mar rojo se abrieron como dos paredes y el pueblo cruzó en seco. Hay ocasiones que también pareciera que Dios está haciendo lo mínimo o casi nada a nuestro favor, recordemos ese cuadro en que Marta y María desesperada por la salud crítica de su hermano enviaron un mensaje a Jesús para que el viniese. Su amigo pero el señor demoró más de lo que ellas pensaban.

Enviaron, pues, las hermanas para decir a Jesús: Señor, he aquí el que amas está enfermo. 4 Oyéndolo Jesús, dijo: Esta enfermedad no es para muerte, sino para la gloria de Dios, para que el Hijo de Dios sea glorificado por ella.
5 Y amaba Jesús a Marta, a su hermana y a Lázaro. 6 Cuando oyó, pues, que estaba enfermo, se quedó dos días más en el lugar donde estaba.

Juan 11:3-6

El señor nos ha dejado el espíritu Santo para que sea nuestro ayunador y sobretodo quien ejecute nosotros la obra de Dios para que también nosotros en poder ADO actuemos en favor de lo que Dios quiere hacer a través de nosotros. El espíritu Santo también nos da la capacidad de entender, de discernir todas las cosas sobre todo en qué momento Dios está obrando en nosotros y a través de nosotros, de esta manera también debemos permitirnos entender y desarrollar la paciencia para reconocer que los tiempos de Dios no son nuestros tiempos, que Dios actúa no siempre solamente como nosotros deseamos que lo haga. Si queremos un ejemplo de esto, miremos la vida de Abraham cuando él ya tenía una promesa por parte de Dios que tendría una familia numerosa, pero él tuvo que esperar varios años junto su esposa y sal cuando eran ancianos pudieron dar a luz el primero de los hijos que marcaría un antes y un después en toda la historia de la humanidad en cuanto al número de su descendencia.

Por este niño oraba, y Jehová me dio lo que le pedí. 28 Yo, pues, lo dedico también a Jehová; todos los días que viva, será de Jehová.
Y adoró allí a Jehová.
Cántico de Ana2 Y Ana oró y dijo:
Mi corazón se regocija en Jehová,
Mi poder se exalta en Jehová;
Mi boca se ensanchó sobre mis enemigos,
Por cuanto me alegré en tu salvación.

Vemos el cuadro en que Ana dio a luz a su hijo, esto nos muestra que lo que Dios hace los puede llenar de gozo y nos trae un gran deleite. No olvidemos que el plan de Dios también puede incluir momentos que nosotros realmente no nos gusten, para ello tenemos varios ejemplos y uno de ellos es el de José, antes que tomara una posición de autoridad Y de relevancia entre los principales, José había sido vendido por sus hermanos, lo entregaron como un esclavo y después fue encarcelado de la forma más injusto, pero en todo ese momento Dios estaba obrando en ella, fue un momento de aprendizaje y de formación.

No existe forma diferente de qué sobrellevemos lo que para nosotros son las peores situaciones, aún en los tiempos más difíciles somos alentados y fortalecidos cuando reconocemos que detrás de todo lo que sucede Dios está obrando siempre a nuestro favor y solamente para nuestro bien.
