It is important that we read the entire chapter to have greater clarity. In this painting we see that David thought it was interesting what King Saul would give him as a reward for defeating the giant, but David asked that the reward be distributed. We may think that because he was young he was stupid but that is NOT the case. We understand that this reward of the King was not his motivation.

David's confrontation with Goliath was clearly post-service to God: "who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should provoke the armies of the living God?" This Philistine was challenging God's people, God himself, and David was fully convinced and prepared to defend on behalf of the Lord and God's people, even though the warrior was feared by the entire nation.

This shows us that when a person has the right motives and trust in God, he will give the strength and wisdom to obtain victory by defying any human limits.

In life we face different Goliaths, perhaps thoughts similar to those that Moses had at one point come to us: "I'm already fed up with all these problems, help me, end all this mess once and for all", after This we understand that everything that happens is to bring out the best in us, to grow, to mature, we can pray to God like this: "God I recognize these problems in which I am immersed, but I know the capacity and strength that comes from You, Help me to overcome, give me the wisdom and ability to obtain glory and honor for you, guide each of my steps."

Es importante que sepamos que ponemos prioridad en Dios, luego nos maravillaremos de los resultados de haber depositado nuestra confianza en Dios.

Es importante que leamos todo el capítulo completo para tener mayor claridad. En este cuadro vemos que a David le pareció interesante lo que el Rey Saúl le daría como recompensa por derrotar al gigante, pero David pidió que se repartiese la recompensa, podemos pensar que por ser joven era tonto pero NO es así, entendemos que esta recompensa del Rey no era su motivación.

El enfrentamiento de David contra Goliat era claramente pos servicio a Dios: "¿quién es este filisteo incircunciso, para que provoque a los escuadrones del Dios viviente?". Este filisteo estaba desafiando al pueblo de Dios, al mismo Dios y David estaba totalmente convencido y preparado para defender en nombre del Señor y el pueblo de Dios, aún cuando el guerrero era temible por toda la nación.

Esto nos muestra que cuando la persona se encuantra con los motivos correctos y la confianza en Dios, él dará las fuerzas y la sabiduría para obtener la victoria desafiando cualquier límite humano.

En la vida nos enfrentamos a diferentes Goliats, quizas vienen a nosotros los pensamientos similares a los que en un momento tuvo Moises: "Ya estoy harto de todo estos problemas, ayúdame, termina de una vez con todo este lío", depués de esto entendemos que todo lo que acontece es para sacar lo mejor de nosotros, para crecer, para madurar, podemos orar a Dios así: "Dios reconozco estos problemas en los que estoy sumido, pero conozco la capacidad y fortaleza que viene de Ti, ayudame a vencer, dame la sabiduria y capacidad para obtener la gloria y honra para ti, guía cada uno de mis pasos."
