Comforting God is available. || Dios consolador está disponible.

In those moments when it seems impossible to continue, let us ask God that his Holy Spirit fills us with strength to continue, that we can trust in his great power.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and brother Timothy, to the church of God which is in Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trouble, so that we too can comfort those who are in any trouble through consolation with which we are comforted by God. 5 For as the afflictions of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 6 But if we are troubled, it is for your consolation and salvation; or if we are consoled, it is for your consolation and salvation, which takes place in suffering the same afflictions that we also suffer. 7 And our hope for you is firm, for we know that just as you are companions in afflictions, you are also companions in consolation.
8 For, brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about our tribulation that came upon us in Asia; for we were overwhelmed beyond our strength, so that we even lost hope of preserving life. 9 But we had the sentence of death upon ourselves, so that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead; 10 who delivered us, and delivers us, and in whom we hope that he will still deliver us, from so great a death; 11 You also cooperate on our behalf with prayer, so that thanks may be given on our behalf for many people for the gift given to us through many.

2 Corinthians 1:1-11

We are all human beings and therefore we have complicated moments, difficult situations and what do we do in those moments? In some situations we wonder why bad things happen to us, even doubting the power of God, but the most intelligent and healthy is to seek more of God, cling to his promises, better understanding his ways and through his word strengthen our faith much more.

Let us remember the Apostle Paul along with Timothy who, being in Assisi, faced many difficulties and persecutions: "we were overwhelmed beyond our strength." They understood that God was the one who could console them by placing their hopes in him.

Paul understood the lesson and explained to the Corinthian believers that he learned to trust in the Lord in the midst of the most difficult trials, fully trusting in the power of God more than in his own strength. Paul supported by faith in the Lord, the prayers of many brothers and his own allowed him to cling to the Lord more and more.

None of us is exempt from suffering some type of difficulty at some point. But it is important that at the moment when this happens we can act in the way that Paul and Timothy acted, that we trust in the Lord even if the whole scenario is totally discouraging and unbearable. Let us ask God for comfort as his power is available to us at all times.

En esos momentos que parece imposible continuar, pidamos a Dios que su espíritu Santo nos llene de fuerzas para continuar, que podamos confiar en su gran poder.

Pablo, apóstol de Jesucristo por la voluntad de Dios, y el hermano Timoteo, a la iglesia de Dios que está en Corinto, con todos los santos que están en toda Acaya: 2 Gracia y paz a vosotros, de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.
3 Bendito sea el Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, Padre de misericordias y Dios de toda consolación, 4 el cual nos consuela en todas nuestras tribulaciones, para que podamos también nosotros consolar a los que están en cualquier tribulación, por medio de la consolación con que nosotros somos consolados por Dios. 5 Porque de la manera que abundan en nosotros las aflicciones de Cristo, así abunda también por el mismo Cristo nuestra consolación. 6 Pero si somos atribulados, es para vuestra consolación y salvación; o si somos consolados, es para vuestra consolación y salvación, la cual se opera en el sufrir las mismas aflicciones que nosotros también padecemos. 7 Y nuestra esperanza respecto de vosotros es firme, pues sabemos que así como sois compañeros en las aflicciones, también lo sois en la consolación.
8 Porque hermanos, no queremos que ignoréis acerca de nuestra tribulación que nos sobrevino en Asia; pues fuimos abrumados sobremanera más allá de nuestras fuerzas, de tal modo que aun perdimos la esperanza de conservar la vida. 9 Pero tuvimos en nosotros mismos sentencia de muerte, para que no confiásemos en nosotros mismos, sino en Dios que resucita a los muertos; 10 el cual nos libró, y nos libra, y en quien esperamos que aún nos librará, de tan gran muerte; 11 cooperando también vosotros a favor nuestro con la oración, para que por muchas personas sean dadas gracias a favor nuestro por el don concedido a nosotros por medio de muchos.

2 Corintios 1:1-11

Todos somos seres humanos y por lo tanto tenemos monentos complicados, situaciones difíciles y ¿Que hacemos en esos momentos?, en algunas situaciones nos preguntamos porque nos suceden las cosas malas dudando inclusive del poder de Dios, pero lo mas inteligente y saludable es buscar mas de Dios, aferrarnos a sus promesas entendiendo mejor sus caminos y por medio de su palabra fortalecer mucho mas nuestra fe.

Recordemos al Apóstol Pablo junto a Timoteo que estando en Asi se enfrentaron a muchísimas dificultades y persecuciones: "fuimos abrumados sobremanera más allá de nuestras fuerzas". Entendieron que Dios era quien podría consolarles poniendo sus esperanzas en él.

Pablo entendió la lección y explicó a los creyentes de Corintos que aprendió a confiar en el Señor en medio de las pruebas mas difíciles confiando plenamente en el poder de Dios mas que en sus propias fuerzas. Pablo sostenido por la fe en en Señor, las oraciones de muchos hermanos y las suyas le permitieron aferrarse al Señor mas y mas.

Ninguno de nosotros está exento de padecer algún tipo de dificultad en algun momento. pero es importante que en el momento en que esto suceda podamos actuar de la manera que actuaron Pablo y Timoteo, que confiemos en el Señor aún si todo el panorama es totalmente desalentador e insoportable. Pidamos a Dios consuelo ya que su poder está disponible para nosotros en todo momento.
