Nose Operation: More annoying than I thought.

I got a Nose operation last Thursday.

This operation was scheduled all the way back in December! But I only got half of it done, which is pretty weird when you were told something and then someone tells you something else and you have to make a decision right there on your feet even though it have been scheduled for months!...

The reason why I wanted to get my Nose operation is because when I build up jelly-ish mucus (not a runny nose) it tends to stay and I "can't" easily get rid of it and it pressure the top of my nose between my eyes. It doesn't happen often, but its not a very pleasent feeling and it hurts my ability to focus or do stuff, unless I get it out. That was the main reason why I went to the Doctor in the first place.
Second reason was because I have had a big hole in my nasal septum wall for as long as I can remember and I talk with the Surgeon about it and he said that it could easily be fix while fixing the other stuff, so perfect! All good, all clear!

What legit happened 5 mins because I had to go into the Surgeon to get the Operation, the Surgeon (the second one) came to me to talk to me about it.
He told me after looking in my nose than he wouldn't be able to fix both of the things at once even though that was what I was told mainly because the hole in my nasal septum wall was so big, bigger than what was written in the report (Now I didn't clean my nose because I went to the first Surgeon since I didn't know, so he might not have been able to see the full hole because of that) and he would have to use a different tactic in order to close the hole, so I had to decide that right at that moment. Now the hole in my nose wasn't the big problem, it was the thing which he wouldn't be able to fix either way and the way I explained to him, he said he needed a CT-Scan of it and might need to cut open up my cheekbone in order to fix it :c Which doesn't sound pleasent at all.

I said fuck it and let them operate on me just fixing the hole x)
The difference is that I now need to wait 5 weeks because they can remove the Silicone plate in my nose compared to the 10 days I said told by the first Surgeon x)
I also, keep to wear a mask at work for all of the 5 weeks (I am sick at home for the next 2 weeks, so it can heal) and I still have to clear it (4 times a day) for 5 weeks compared to 2 weeks before. So a lot more is needed compared to what I was told in the beginning.

The operation went well and it doesn't really hurt, but I am also talking pills left and right haha, but breathing is still hard which is why I need to clear it so often.

Not sure if this is a rant or not, its fixed and its fine, now its just a waiting game for it to heal. I just need energy since I can't really sleep, because I cant breathe haha.

It must have really made you feel somehow hearing that the solution to your nose was a surgery. I’m glad it went well and you could even talk about it.

Get well completely soon. ❤️‍🩹
