Ankle still sprained ffs.
So I sprained my Ankle 1 month ago at a company party where we were playing bumper football. At the time I didn't think it was sprained, I thought I just hurt it and it would just need the weekend + maybe Monday and we would be good! I couldn't be more wrong x)
Its sprained and its badly sprained. It still hurts & was swollen, still a little bit blue xD
So thats great.
I am not the best to sit still and do fuck all and the more days this goes on the harder it is.
I am currently in school, so I drive to school which doesn't help my foot I would guess, but Ohh well, kinda have to be in school x)
1 week after. I just want to go for a walk or move.
Last week, I planned on starting boxing training this week x) But, not sure when my foot is healed enough to go and do that, which sucks even more since I now have the time to do it.
Soooo. I basically do fuck all these days xD
Here after a month, I am walking more and more against. Its not fixed yet, but its getting there slowly.
Ouch, bumper football can be sneaky, a month in and it still hurts is rough.
Since you were lining up BoXing, try seated shadow boxing and light core work so you keep the habit without pounding the ankle today'.
After the drive to school, elevate it a bit and do the ankle alphabet, those tiny moves help swelling and stiffness.
From the numbers side, rest pays compound interest, push too soon and the fees hang around longer.. :)
I started gym today instead of starting to boxing xD
Not sure its the best for my foot, but then it can just heal faster. I am tried of this bullshit xD
totally get the fed up vibes xD it's annoying, but gym instead of boxing is a smart pivot :)
Keep it mostly upper body and machines, think seated presses, rows, cable work, maybe bike with easy resistance; skip anything that loads the ankle or needs balance.
If it throbs more later or tomorrow, scale it back and end with 10 min leg up plus ankle alphabet.

That's a pain, literally and physically! I sprained my ankle a couple years ago quite bad, I missed a step and fell on the next step down. I ended up wearing one of those ankle support for a long time and that definitely helped a lot. If you don't have one, I'd highly recommend getting one, but maybe not to do boxing yet...

Its almost over I think, it been a month now, so we are in the last healing phase :D
I have sprained my ankles 2139278931 million times when I was young, I did gymnasitics back then. So I haven't even been to the doctor this time xD
Electician. I have been out for 8 months working and now I am back in school for 2 semester :D
