Curator Cat: Rainy Caturday for the Mom-Hooman's Return Home
Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!
We have arrived at Saturday once more... that is to say Caturday, my favorite day of the week for posting cat pictures!
It is a quiet day around here with a cold soft rain falling from heavy gray skies so we're all very happy that we're indoor cats right now!
I look out there and feel very grateful to not be a wet street cat, trying to stay dry and warm.
Shangri, looking for playtime!
The Dad-Hooman left the house earlier today to go and pick up the Mom-Hooman from the ferry terminal after she spent a few days in Seattle visiting the Daughter-Hooman! As I have mentioned before, the Daughter-Hooman had a new baby boy back in the spring, and that is of course the biggest excitement for the Hoomans!
We're glad everyone is safely back home! Although the Dad-Hooman is a good caretaker, one Hooman for four cats is just not enough!
Shadow and Nala getting comfy!
With winter coming closer, the "game" for us around here is to keep nice warm sleeping spots handy and to take plenty of good naps whenever the sun shows up.
Well, actually, we take good naps whenever we can, even if there's no sun. All we require is a soft bed and a little bit of warmth!
Nala, in one of her favorite spots
With the weather being how it is, the Hoomans will likely be spending the weekend indoors, which is going to mean more platime for cats!
And if not that, at least there will be lots of things for us to get into, when they start spreading their "hobby stuff" around! I particularly enjoy getting in the middle of the Dad-Hooman's attempt to paint!
The ironing board makes a good perch!
Thankfully, the Hoomans have stopped obsessing over the crypto markets and seem to just have resigned themselves to the idea that it's all going to go nowhere.
Fine by me! Perhaps we can just get back to our original purpose of just keeping a blog about cute cats!
Nala and Shangri finding a bit of warmth together!
And that's about all we have time for in this update... the Dad-Hooman is in the kitchen, and that means "TV Time" is not far away. TV timne is good, because we have laps to sleep in, and a captive audience!
We appreciate you coming to visit our little cat blog and hope to see you again soon! In the meantime, have a wonderful Sunday!
Until the next time!

Love Cats? Get Involved in Hive's Cat Communities!
If you're a cat lover and often/sometimes post pictures or other content that includes your feline friends, why not become an active part of Hive's growing Cat Communities?
These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Many of the allow you to share your cat posts, even if you started at a different community!
HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!
Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!
Caturday by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!
Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!
Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.
There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
