Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

We have made it to the weekend, and that means we have made it to Caturday, my favorite day of the week! Why, you might ask? Well, because we follow the old web tradition that "Saturday means Caturday!" So we celebrate all things cat.

Hello!

It has been another blustery and rainy day in our corner of the world, and you can definitely tell that winter is not far away. In the distance, we can see the snow level slowly creeping down the mountains, a little bit more every day.

With very few exceptions, it generally stops around the 1,500-foot level, in mid-winter.

Regardless, it's a good time of the the year to live life as a pampered indoor cat!

The Hoomans are both home and taking it easy this weekend. The Mom-Hooman is actually taking a "day off" which means we cats get to spend time with her when she is reading in front of the fireplace in the living room!

The Dad-Hooman is mainly working on his "eBay stuff" which offers a nice opportunity to get in the middle of everything!

There's a chipmunk on the lawn, RIGHT THERE!

All in all, I think we are all relieved to see the end of October. For those of us invested in the cryptosphere, it was definitely not a very good month. Except maybe for those who only get into Bitcoin.

Thankfully, we are not deeply "invested" in the profitability of Hive, just in the fact that we get to keep our cat blog here, and have gotten to know a pretty nice community of cat lovers!

If Hive should ever climb back out of the deep well in which it currently finds itself, that would be lovely... but we have zero expectations!

Even so, we shall continue to set our little goals and keep building... because you just never know what might happen in this strange world!

Watching what's going on outside... flying leaves, mostly!

It was sad to see that yet another of Hive's "2nd Layer Communities" — in this case the "BRO" organization — appears to have come to a chaotic end.

Thankfully, we didn't have a lot invested in it, but it's still disappointing, given that it seemed to be one of the more stable projects on Hive.

Caturday by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
