Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

We have reached the weekend once again, and since it is Saturday that also means it is Caturday, my favorite day of the week!

It is another quiet Caturday at our place, with the Mom-Hooman having left for Seattle to spend the Mother's Day weekend with the Daughter-Hooman and her new baby boy!

He turned one month old yesterday and spent much of his first month of life in intensive care, following a difficult birth, and needing to get additional oxygen for several weeks. It must be quite difficult for the Daughter-Hooman to manage all that!

Anyway, the Dad-Hooman is doing his best to keep us entertained in her absence. The Mom-Hooman will be gone until Wednesday or Thursday.

It is a little strange that she is not home for Mother's Day this year, but that's OK. We just hope she has a good time with her daughter and the newborn.

Meanwhile, the days have gotten nicer and longer and the house stays warmer than it used to now that we have a lot more sunshine.

For the most part, the Hoomans have been very busy working on their gardening projects and spending time outside. Although we are indoor cats, we are occasionally allowed out on the deck, but only escorted by a Hooman, and only one or two of us at a time.

I think the Hoomans originally had intended to teach Shangri and Nala how to walk on a harness outside, but that never really came to pass. Both of them were rather too skittish to tolerate having anything around around them so the project was given up.

I am still hoping the Dad-Hooman will keep his periodic promises of building us a catio! That way we would have access to a little bit of outside as well as the safety of inside.

In a few days we will be celebrating Shangri and Nala's first birthdays. As best we have been able to calculate they were born around the 15th of May last year, which fits with them being between three and four months old when they came to us at the end of August.

We are all very grateful that they came to us and found a happy home here! They have become such an integral part of the family!

It's definitely nice to see the crypto world finally taking at least a bit of an upturn. Let's hope it also turns into a solid upturn for our own Hive token!

For those who subscribe to the "4-year cycle" theory, 2025 is supposed to a a really good year, like 2017 and 2021... only time will tell. The economic and world situation is plenty weird these days, so who knows what's really going to happen...

That said, it certainly would be super nice if we could experience another period of things going really well — even if just for a few months!

It would certainly help many of us not only reach our Hive goals, but also to start feeling more positive about the whole crypto idea, again. I must admit I have been feeling a bit weary and jaded for a while...
