Fair points… scale and diversity matter. My hope is that lowering friction might help new use cases emerge organically.

I think that unless people want to spend their money, there won't be a demand/market. Lots of people want to make money, we are surrounded by Africans and Venezuelans. Not many want to spend money.
They need that money to buy food and pay bills. And most of the internet stores don't provide that, because they are global.
You can see that on Hivefests is basically a European event. I know it sounds harsh but it's part of the current landscape.
