Mochi, Pudding and a Mountain of Ice | MeetFresh

It's been really hot lately! Summer's just around the corner and walking outside feels like a challenge. I actually love being out in the sun, getting that vitamin D naturally, but lately, the heat's just too much! All I want is something cold (like a cold drink or a scoop of ice cream) to cool me down.

While strolling around Makati with @gabbiebi, I suddenly had a craving for something refreshing. Usually, Gabbie would suggest an ice cream, a shake, or a cold drink, but we got lucky that day because we spotted a MeetFresh store nearby. I was soooo happy! 💓 I've been wishing for more MeetFresh branches near me because the last time I had it was at Podium mall, which is kinda far from my usual spots.

When we walked in the store, I was shocked because there's no line, no waiting, it's just an empty store ready to accommodate us. The Podium mall branch is always packed with long queue, so this was a jackpot. Now I know where to get my MeetFresh fix without the hassle.

Gabbie had never tried MeetFresh before, so I was excited to introduce her to it. We went for their best-seller, the Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. We didn't order naything else because their shaved ice portions are huge!! No way I could finish it on my own. It's good for 2-3 people, unless you're really hungry then go for it alone 😂.

While waiting, we checked out the menu and saw they also have Icy Taro Balls, Hot Almond Soup, Milk Teas, and Buffles (Bubble Waffles). The Buffles are on my list for next time, but right then, all I wanted was that shaved ice 😋

The place was super cozy and cold (thanks aircon! 😂) and I was already thinking about making this my go-to branch.

After a few minutes, our Pudding & Q Mochi Milk shaved ice arrived and it looked amazing. Gabbie's initial reaction? 'The pudding looks fluffy!' She also asked while staring at the huge bowl 'Are we seriously finishing this by ourselves?' 😂

This shaved ice dessert was a dream! It has a creamy vanilla ice cream on top of the soft, finely shaved ice, surrounded by a mix of almond and caramel pudding, chewy q mochi and taro balls. Gabbie kept tapping the pudding with her spoon because it was so jiggly 😂

We immediately ate the ice cream, then randomly picked at the toppings. This is the perfect choice if you can't decide what to get because you get a little bit of everything in one bowl. If you're new to MeetFresh, I totally recommend this shaved ice.

By the time we were done, we were stuffed and super satisfied. It totally hit the spot for my sweet tooth and cooled me down perfectly 💙 We'll definitely go back to try more! I also love their Boba Shaved Ice so I might make Gabbie try that next time!
