Who earns more than a 1000 dollars in interest per month through HBD savings?
I have been thinking about where to park my fiat money. I mean as it is and not to buy more crypto or BTC. Well, that might be a bad decision to some but I do need some safe havens.
Bank interest is so so. So HBD savings is always an option. It is pegged to dollar and it earns 20 percent interest per year.
In one of dalz’s recent reports, the listing of interest earners in HBD caught my attention. Let’s take a look.

How much does it take to yield that?
Before we go there, the top account there earns 8000HBD per month with more than a million HBD saved. I suspect this guy have many more millions to throw around and this is just part of his investment.
I looked further down the list and checked out what is needed for yielding more than 1000 HDB as monthly interest. I can see them having amounts to the tunes of 100000 HBD.
By calculation, it is clear that every dollar equivalent earns 20 cents per year, or approximately 1.67 cents per month. To earn 1000 HBD as interest per month, the capital outlay is about 60,000 HBD.
Would I do it? Probably not rich enough to take this risk at the moment. There is certainly risk involved such as losing one’s key, or complete shutdown of the network. Rare as they may be. I am not one with spare cash to risk it this way.
At the moment I am just in awe that the rich getting richer is a thing in Hive. I should not be surprised…
That's a huge amount and even i will not suggest you to put so much of money. Recently few accounts were compromised and that's what make me feel scared

6k would be enough for me so i would get 100usd every month and pay bills.

I don't see how the platform can be closed? As you said there is millions of dollars invested here.
Key stolen problem is 3 day issue because savings can be redeemed after 3 day only.
So... hopefully you can get your account back then.
There is always risk involved. Remember Terra Luna? Who would have thought that it will go down suddenly so sharply?
We won’t know these black swan events so I apply some defensive measures to protect my wealth.
That's really a cool amount to earn based on interest. Well the hbd is actually huge though
That is a huge amount of HBD and I am nowhere close to that. You need quite a bit of HBD to earn that much HBD though.

I would like to mention here that the way we have seen within the peer market we have seen many stablecoins disappear and it is very exciting for the community to see them on top of a stablecoin. 20 percent APR is also being given. That's why many people have survived the bear market without a problem.
Maybe it's not a bad idea to investigate how big would be the chance that the network completely shuts down?.... Looks like an interesting risk calculation... !PIZZA
