Inflatables Festival [ENG-PT/BR]

Until July 27, Parque Verde do Mondego, in Coimbra - Portugal, is hosting the second edition of Mondego Vibe - Inflatables Festival.

It's another summer initiative organized by Coimbra City Council and the Coimbra Parish Union, which began on 11 July.

Around 30 inflatables have been installed, half of which are structures for water activities. The main attractions are the popular Waterballs, Bumperbalss, Little Boats, Gladiators, large inflatable tracks and a Foam Arena. These are especially dedicated to children, but there are also inflatables accessible to adults.

I tried to visit the festival at an off-peak time, as photographing public environments with children is complicated and sensitive.

But I was able to see the organization's objectives, to provide moments of leisure and family fun. The warm weather invites you to water activities and refreshing bubble baths.

Entry to the grounds is free, but you must buy a ticket to take part in the activities, which cost 10 euros (morning or afternoon) or 15 euros (daily). Mondego Vibe is open from Monday to Friday, from 15h00 to 20h00, and at the weekend, from 10h00 to 20h00.

Festival de Insufláveis

Até 27 de julho o Parque Verde do Mondego, em Coimbra - Portugal, acolhe a segunda edição do Mondego Vibe - Festival de Insufláveis.

É mais uma iniciativa de Verão organizada pela Câmara Municipal de Coimbra e União de Freguesias de Coimbra, iniciou a 11 de Julho.

Estão instalados cerca de 30 insufláveis, sendo que metade são estruturas para actividades aquáticas. As principais atrações são os populares Waterballs, Bumperbalss, Barquinhos, Gladiadores, pistas insufláveis de grandes dimensões e uma Arena de Espuma. Especialmente dedicados à crianças mas também há insufláveis acessíveis a adultos.

Procurei visitar o festival num horário pouco frequentado, fotografar ambientes públicos com crianças é complicado e sensível. Mas constatei os objetivos da organização, proporcionar momentos de lazer e convívio familiar e divertido. O tempo quente convida a atividades aquáticas com direito a banhos refrescantes de espuma.

A entrada no recinto é gratuita mas participar nas atividades é necessário adquirir bilhete, que têm um custo de 10 euros (manhã ou tarde) ou 15 euros (diário). O Mondego Vibe funciona de segunda a sexta-feira, das 15h00 às 20h00, e ao fim de semana, das 10h00 às 20h00.
