The Great Land Shuffle: Land 2.0, worth it?

The Great Land Shuffle
Greetings everyone and welcome to another SplinterLANDS post, this time I'm going to talk about future changes and my thoughts on land and splinterlands assets overall. Where/when should I move them. And a bunch of other musings. So without further or do let's get into my thoughts on Land 2.0. The land 2.0 update can be found .
2.0: Will this be the last goalpost?
Will land 2.0 be the last goalpost and will the economic system be established? How much more of a sink will be demanded to engage with this feature of the game? The future overall is uncertain. Who's to say there won't be a 2.1 or something akin to that? The current resource restructuring already requires a massive amount of land to keep everything running if you intend to mine SPS, so now my in game sights are set squarely on creating a guild. Those guildlines etc. seem rather set, and I can have an environment for onboarding that has them easily set up with a new wallet etc. and no weirdness.
Bakerdire Building Schedule: Land strategy
For the time being I have been using the land as it currently stands and swapping resources for stone (my one resource that is hard to mine) to be able to continue mining SPS. I do own one stone plot in another region, but sending it grain is a hassle and not always as cost effective. My land by happenstance wasn't oriented in a great way for producing resources and had to get new cores and move stuff around. I ended up establishing new grain, wood, and iron producing land tiles. It is necessary to meet demands for production. Previously you needed mostly farms/granaries, these days you need to diversify or perish. I know this issue I am currently having with production will only be augmented in 2.0. So I think now might be a decent time to clean my hands of a lot of my unused land. I think they are moving which bag they want held the most.
Talking Tidbits: Know when to fold 'em
Land 2.0 and beyond just means most of bakerdire will never really be used for the most part. I may sell swathes of it to get a node before/after 2.0 comes out (gotta feel how the wind blows that day). If I do sell it I surely will post about it first, but this is just prefacing that the thought is in my mind. I definitely think a node is something that I would like to acquire instead, even if they change the way it works aswell down the line. I never thought I'd part with any of my Splinterland, but these news are definitely making me seriously consider it. I have been enjoying survival when I have time to play, mobile is good. Great time waster to grind like any mobile TCG/CCG, overall a good time. There are issues with splinterlands, but I don't necessarily consider these updates an issue. Far from it. It's just a depth of gameplay I may not be able to continue to afford to keep up with. I think I may go more back into playing the game and being less of a lang mogul. Maybe more of a land steader with a good portion of properties, I don't know a duke-ish. Land and economy depth isn't a bad thing, but I can tell when my time is night and it might be time to move assets into other splinterstuff. I will still keep a vast majority of my land, but I do want to make a guild and get a node. So I may liquidate enough to be able to accommodate that to the desires I may want. It's not a critique on land, it's just me wanting to be more rounded in splinterlands going forward.
Hey there! Thanks for taking a look at this post. All of you folks rock and are what make it awesome to post here on hive. Thanks for looking at this post, liking it, commenting, and anything else. Cheers, and I'll see you in the Splinterlands.
It's been a pleasure sharing your thoughts on Lands, dear cryptoniusrex. You see, I only have two plots, one producing common grain and another epic plot where I have mid-to-high-level workers producing stone. I'm torn. I love Lands and want to see what's in store for 2.0, so I want to acquire more useful plots near my region. On the other hand, I want to strengthen my AC deck, so I'm evaluating where to invest in the future. Thank you for sharing your perspectives. Best regards.
