Arcane Atlanteans bonk Developer

Welcome GU players, Hivers, and TCG enjoyers to another Atlantean escapade. This time we bonked a developer using Magic Atlanteans despite them using an overplayed Death deck utilizing traditional Siren of the Grave sleep combos, the infamous Necroscepter, Obelisk, and many more of death's tried and true value cards. Despite all their best efforts they couldn't overcome the Atlantean onslaught. It was oh so gratifying, it soothed my jaded GU soul. Especially after they give you the option to run away with your tail between your legs at the start of the match.

The Deck: Elyrian's Classic Atlanteans

This deck is a classic aggressive Atlantean build that puts down cards fast and deals a lot of damage to face in a short time. However, this lineup is complemented by a few key Atlanteans that allow late game removal, curve, and threats to not have this deck lose steam completely at 5 mana like most aggro. I suppose you could call it midrange with heavy early presence. This tends to be the sort of design I try to give most of my decks in GU due to the fact there is a very high chance you will encounter a "Turn 5 or die" aggro deck at whichever tier of play.

Key Atlanteans for Elyrian: Slow and Fast

• Time bomb: Time bomb already has a fair statline as a 3/2 and to top it off it adds an additional layer of early removal for a fast aggro build. A must have in any atlantean magic deck

• Manathirst Golem: This card is an absolute monstrosity when played correctly. In this particular build we ran the god power "Pallas' wisdom" allowing for 1 spell to be generated for 3 mana every turn if we so choose. Making manathirst a valid threat at 5 mana that requires quick removal.

• Phase touched golem: ALWAYS run this card in magic atlanteans, it offers some of the best tribal synergy for Atlanteans in the game, end of story. Granting ward to every creature allows for greater early game aggression with less fear of removal.

• Scuttler Sentry: A 1 mana minion to create a lower general curve to your deck. Also offers nice removal potential and can pop ward. Definitely recommended despite having 1 HP as there aren't a plethora of value options at 1 mana for Atlanteans.... yet.

• Dwarf Atlant: This card is value, for 3 mana dealing 1 damage and having a 2/4 body is more than fair. This card is typically ran in tandem but is not as core as the rest listed above.

These are blue Atlanteans that will USUALLY perform well in an Atlantean aggro build if you build around using them.

The Video: Gotta Put SOMETHING out there

This video was a bit of a "fuck it I gotta do something" sort of modus operandi. A lot of content creators for this game only do the gameplay and I mean that's adequat for some, but not for me. I had the desire to make something fun, or at least attempt it. I added in a few random little movie clips and musical snippets to that video (that I own none of but are royalty free or usable under youtube) to create a funnier meme video with less general boredom than just watching a match in dead silence with my occasional (in the moment) LIVE commentary. It was nice to finally put something out to youtube, but this probably means I will have to put out a "the risks and dangers of web3 gaming" to be a responsible youtuber quickly after this. I can't expect everyone to be as cool as you guys and read my blog and know my stance of "it's a risk treat it like a game not a surefire investment or you'll get burned", so that will likely be my next video after I clean my hard drive of a few more Atlantean matches.
