Always ask, but never expect
Ask for what is wanted. Many people are willing to help when the request is direct and specific. In a surprising number of cases, remarkable things become possible when someone has the courage to ask.

Never expect people to say yes. Everyone is busy and juggling multiple priorities. A request isn't anyone else's responsibility. When told no, move on lightly and freely. The world is full of opportunity
