Splinterlands legends in the making!

Happy weekend and it's a sunday and to be a fun day for us. The splinterlands guys will definitely treat it as a fun day by playing more battles and here is the story behind this account creation and why it is being used for playing splinterlands battle and how it is being maintained and all as part of this week's community engagement challenge where, it is required to explain as legends in the making with details of how splinterlands was discovered and all.

Let's do it in a phase wise manner to get to know the details of this account's discovery of splinterlands.

How did you discover Splinterlands?

Well, it's like I am not the one who started this account. I am actually been gifted this account by a relative of me who has been playing this game since the game and when he had few extra cards, he created this alt account and started playing in lower level along with his main account.

Soon, when he felt he is getting busy with office work and couldn't play this and main account regularly, he gifted this account and the agreement between us was to I keep playing this account and provide back some cards especially rewards cards when there are some extra copies or some cards which I may feel not that useful for me but which might help him to upgrade his monsters.

So far, it's all good without much difficulty in getting this account upgraded as there are many rewards cards obtained regularly and also SPS earned is staked regularly and whenever I need help in getting the SPS converted for DEC, I will get support from the person who gifted this account and life goes on.

I do keep blogging once in a while to cover for the costs of wild pass and keep staking/saving the remaining HBD for future use.

What was your first card or most memorable early battle?

I think there are lot of healing or tank heal cards, but the card which caught my attention initially as I started playing beta version cards was the card of flesh golem

Not sure why I like this most but probably, this was the monster which i started using this more and more as i was winning more battles with this.

it's 3 melee attack and healing ability and also 9 health for a level 4 monster is probably what caught my eyes.

And when the rewards cards were introduced, the most astonishing card we got from beta versions was the monster of gelatinous cube which was again a healing monster although it is not a monster with any attack, but when noxious fumes ruleset was introduced, this monster was the one which helped me the most to win battles as it keeps healing itself and can be a good one.

How has your strategy evolved since you started?

It's been good although i struggled a bit initially, but, when i started understanding from my mistakes, i started winning more battles.

Although i have nice deck for each of the splinters, most of the monsters are not maxed out as this was an alt account and reaching gold leagues is not a difficult task and i have bee provided with an bot as well for wild format battles and in modern format, i play the battles manually in order to earn more sps and rewards cards and that is working out pretty nicely and i do play the guild battles as and when i get time and that has brought some good monsters from the gladius version and it's all going on nicely so far.

Since the introduction of untamed and chaos legion versions, i have been provided more more cards and that balances out the lack of maxed out cards from beta versions and as i said earlier, reaching gold level is not difficult at all with the cards available for me to battle.

What are your goals in the game now?

I am earning decent amount of sps per win in modern and cards are also good as i earn from both modern and wild formats and no issues as of now.

The plans now is, just like all splinterlands players, looking forward to conclave arcana version although i can't afford to buy many packs, so, it might be like i will combine with my introducer and may be i will share the hbd i earned in order to get more packs which will also help in getting more airdropped cards at a later point of time.

We will have to discuss on the cards sharing from my introducer to have some cards which will be useful to me but my introducer might feel which are extra for him.

Obviously the new mega version after chaos legion edition, is always exciting and i would like to be part of that version by having as many cards as possible.

Let's see how it goes and hopefully it will be a win win situation for both of us.
