Two Seasons Recap! - End Of Season Recap, Buying Draws, Leveling Up

I was very busy at the beginning of this month and I didn't have time to create my recap post on time... When I was finally available, the next season was almost ended, so here we are... Two seasons in one post! Who would say that will happen ever... hahahahaha

Firstly, this is the result of a season that ended at the beginning of May... I reached the Diamond 1 league, which is my recent maximum... I got over 77K GLINT tokens, and that's over 8K more than in the season before that... All in all, that was a good season...

Fast forward to the current season... I got to the leaderboard in the Top 100 of the Diamond leagues!!! I think this was my first time, and that got me an additional 25K GLINT tokens, which, along with 74K, makes it almost 100K in one season! AWESOME!

As I skipped one opening, I have accumulated a bit more GLINT tokens, which made it possible to go back with my "standard" draws set-up, 10+30+10+2, 10 RARE draws more than last time, and 1 LEGENDARY more... I was doing that way before, but in the last post, I ran out of GLINTs and had to lower those numbers... But now, I'm back with more cards for purchasing!!!

COMMON Draws - Screenshot from Splinterlands.com

At the beginning, let's start with COMMON DRAWS... This time, I have easily noticed one GOLD-FOILED card as it is more visible with the text "gold" under the card! From 10 cards, 1 is gold... not bad for the start...

As I have collected some cards DURING the season, I will use this occasion to upgrade them and share with you...

That one Tokatag Consript was exactly what I needed to be able to upgrade this awesome card to level 5! It got +1 LIFE, and along with two awesome abilities, it's a nice background attacker and defender at the same time!

I was able to upgrade my Chaos Evoker to the same level, too! It's now at level 5, and it got the Ambush ability!!! Watch out, enemies, there will be some explosions at the beginning of the match!

The next COMMON card that reached level 5 is the Giant Alpine Skink! It became a bit more resilient because of the new Phase ability! Magic attackers will miss some of their shots!

Aside from the gold-foiled Tokatag Conscript, I have also upgraded the regular version to the same level!

And that would be all regarding the COMMON cards... 3 regular and 1 gold-foiled upgraded, and all of them are at level 5!

Let's check out my RARE cards luck...

30 DRAWS opened and NONE of the cards were gold-foiled... Well, that was an unpleasant surprise... On the other side, maybe this means that I will have more luck opening my EPIC draws... We will find out that soon... But, before doing that, let's upgrade some RARE cards!

The good news is that I did get some gold-foiled cards during the season, so I was able to upgrade some of them... My Thunderhoof Nomad went up to level 3, where it got +1 on LIFE!

It wasn't the only GF card to be leveled up! I also upgraded my Chaos Adjutant to level 3, where it got the Snare ability! Watch out, flying monsters, he will hunt you down!

Regarding regular (foiled) cards, the first to upgrade was Thunderhoof Nomad again (I upgraded the GF card)! But this time, the regular version of the card has reached level 5, where it got +1 LIFE!

The next card for upgrade was the Dark Arborist! It is now at level 5 and it got +1 LIFE, too!

Another RARE card that has reached level 5 is the Dragon Egg Forager, where it got +1 Mellee attack, which made it a much powerful card!

And that was the last RARE card to be upgraded! All in all, I have upgraded 3 regular cards and 2 gold-foiled RARE cards!

Now it gets even more interesting... Time to open EPIC DRAWs!

Darn! That assumption of being more lucky with EPICs didn't get through... No gold-foiled here either... ☹️

But, it's not all bad news! Thanks to this opening, I was able to upgrade my Shock Trooper to level 4, and he now has 6 LIFE instead of 5!

Also, that was the only EPIC card that I upgraded today...

And the best for the last... 2 LEGENDARY DRAWs for opening...

I don't want to lie and say that I didn't expect to get a gold-foiled legendary, but that was a way to loooooong shot... Long story short, I didn't get it... 😂 Buuuut...

Thanks to this opening, I was able to upgrade my Emberguard card to level 2, where it got the Deflect ability! No more Magic Reflect or Blast to this card!

As a matter of fact, I was able to upgrade the second legendary card that I got today! But this time, the Frigid Wolf card went up to level 3, where it became a bit faster with +1 SPEED!

Two legendary cards upgraded in one post! That's awesome!

To summarize everything... After almost 1 month break, I had a fantastic opening and upgrade experience today! I wasn't lucky with GOLD-FOILED cards today as I got only 1 in DRAWs, but I know that I will have better luck next time!

On the other side, I have upgraded 12 cards, from which 3 were gold-foiled! Not bad at all!

See you at the end of the next season!
