It is what it is, that "rules" can be made by those who can afford it. But we have it in our hands if we get hit by them or if we adapt. The reason why I am relaxed with the "adapting way" is my mindset and that I can say "We will create something better!

I agree with you: what is a little pitty is all the time I invested in. But that's live...

I and we will find ways to influence the market, that is for sure.

before I or we go into war

I have ZERO interest in fighting anyone or anything, just seeking to discover the best solutions and outcomes for both the Hive ecosystem and individuals within the community interacting in the ecosystem. If there are disagreements, we must remember we're all on the same team here.

I agree, this is why I believe that the final outcome of this project is going to be magnificent. Both praise and criticism are tools that you use to elevate the project. That is how we got such an excellent curation tool in the first place! If there are specific (and useful) criticisms towards this curation project, it would make for a great conversation that can be used to improve the mechanisms. But a criticism so severe that the only solution is dismantling it completely? How is that helpful for anyone?

This is the reality of the blockchain, by design. Those who either invest heavily or bought in early and have acquired a large stake, will have GREAT influence over the actions and behaviors of others. Everyone has a carrot and a stick, some carrots and sticks are bigger than others. No point in complaining about not having as big a stick as someone else, it's not a stick contest. :-)

I'm all about adaptation to external forces which create circumstances beyond our control (like HIVE dropping or rising in value or someone accessing and changing keys), but dismantling a project out of fear of a "hit" from an INTERNAL force, that's something else entirely.

I never encourage complaining or "pity", I am 100% focused on gratefulness and looking forward. But we also must not deceive ourselves and degrade our hard work and time. If you choose to disable the service, I know it'll be for a good reason and I know you'll use this energy for positive building, you already are!
