I think over the next day or so we shall see a new Manchester United manager announced because the timing makes perfect sense. The international window means all club sides take a two week break with United's next game on the 19th October. If the club leaves it any longer into the season then it will be more of a panic situation and not an organized planned move.

I find the situation with Manchester United this season is actually quite funny and is starting to look like another disappointing season. I have a Manchester United supporter in my home and every season they think this is all going to change and that their team will be a major force.

Full of hopium is what you would expect, but there is no realism because they are a mid table team all day long. Two seasons ago they over achieved mainly down to individual skills and not based on team performances. This is the biggest issue with the squad as they are mediocre players expecting to challenge for trophies.

Man United have forked out over £560million on new players to work under Ten Hag, with just under half coming from former Ajax stars.

Ten Hag has signed 20 senior players across his five transfer windows at Old Trafford, an average of four fresh arrivals every six months.

Manchester United have been the second biggest spenders behind Chelsea and the results have not materialised. f you think about the investment it does not take a genius to see this is not working.

The manager Eric Ten Haag is a Dutchmen and has been buying half of the players from his former team. How is that going to work because Ajax as a club would be a mid table team in the Premiership at best. A club that was always historically attracted to the biggest names in the game is no longer and lets face it they are more likely to catch a cold than land one of the games biggest names.

Ineos being a stakeholder these days is in charge of the daily running of the club and knowing how they seek out perfection they will not be happy. Sir Jim Ratcliffe the owner of Ineos was at the game today and I am sure the change of manager is at the top of their agenda.

Ratcliffe was busy with the Americas Cup being held in Barcelona of which he is the main sponsor and supporter of Ineos Brittania the Great Britain entry in the race. That final event starts on the 13th October ending on the 27th October so I expect he is back in town to support the new manager. I just cannot see them not sacking Ten Haag after the teams start to the season. If this was your business manager and he was under performing you would not hesitate to sack him and this is no different.

Hard to see where the next points are coming from as even Leicester and West Ham have started to improve.

Every time Ten Haag is quizzed over his teams performance he asks for more time highlighting he two trophies the tea has won over his campaign. The problem is the Carbaro Cup counts for nothing and the other being the FA Cup. Finishing in the top 4 is far more important financially for the club as it guarantees Champions League football. This season they are already out of the running for that and are in all honesty 3 games away from a relegation battle.
