What is that saying if you live in a glass house do not throw stones.

Why did Sky News even mention this as the obvious reason is it does not fit their narrative. News stations do not care about the news as it is more about the agenda that is being driven and by those who are paying them to be their voice.

My grandparents and parents like the rest of their generation used to sit down in front of their television sets every day at 9pm and watch the daily news. This was how life was for that generation and on top of that they would buy at least two news papers daily and they would swear blind whatever they heard or read was the truth.

These are the SA News paper figures and they will be gone within the next 5 years.

Those days are long gone however and only a small percentage in comparison tune into the news bulletins or read newspapers. The newspaper industry has been on a steady decline for decades and is not something that happened recently. I used to be a subscriber in the 1990's and have not read a news paper in the last 20 years, even the free ones on the plane I never read.

The problem is the News companies have their narratives that they back and any other news that doe snot fit their narrative is ignored. This is a huge problem as the population is being shown only one side of the story and not the entire truth leaving the masses oblivious to what is going on through manipulation.

This is similar to brain washing because if you hear or see somehting often enough then it must be true. The new stations have changed from airing the news and are now more into a propaganda type approach suiting whatever narrative they have selected.

I first came across Sky News whilst still living in South Africa back in 1993 when I was visiting their offices whilst doing my work. They were literally busy packing up ready to leave the country and I asked the obvious question why. I was told their job is now done and the government has collapsed so their assignment has been completed.

This opened my eyes to what the news was all about and this was over 30 years ago as it was not about reporting the news, but only highlighting the news topics that was in line with their assignment or agenda. It would make no difference if 50 people had been killed the night before and would only make the news if it benefitted whatever they were doing.

This "news reporting" that these news companies now do is under attack from the likes of social media mainly down to the fact that people are waking up to the lies they have been fed. If you notice most articles trending on social media are not news worthy items due to the fact these articles show a different story to what the mass media are preaching.

Governments obviously do not like this as they can no longer spin the stories via leaks which is what they used to do. They would leak a story to assess the publics reaction and depending on the reaction would then spin the narrative in their favor. This was happening in the UK under the Tony Blair Labor Government and was rather effective for a number of years, but unfortunately the population was being conned of the truth.

Social media and especially places like X (twitter) are in a fight with the mass media giants and the winner will be social media as this is where the real growth is taking place. Many thought when Musk bought Twitter he was crazy paying billions to own this site, but the value will soar making that purchase look cheap. The future of the news is online and it will not be driven by the media giants.
