So How Was Your HIVE Journey 2025?

Above is a screenshot from the end of last year which is always a good idea when it comes to reviewing the year seeing how you have done and at the same time seeing where you can improve. I do not set HIVE targets as growth is not exactly in your own hands and you need the support of the community. This is the most HIVE I have earned within 12 months so I hope to keep this going in the same direction next year.

An increase in stake/ HIVE Power of nearly 43K is more than I expected to achieve especially if you consider the 141K HIVE Power had taken nearly 7 years to accumulate. I think what is clear is if you remain active and consistent the rewards will slowly increase as the stake increases in size. The curation and APR do play a big growth role which again is all reliant on the stake your account holds. This is why reviewing how your growth is shaping up is actually pretty cool to look back on not forgetting how hard it was when starting out in my case from 0 HP.

Looking through my feed this evening I noticed that @gungunkrishu mentioned a new HIVE tool developed by @emrebeyler called HIVE Wrapped 2025 which gives you the option of looking at the last year via all the different statistics. This kind of tool is pretty useful as it summarizes the year in the actions you have completed. I am sure most of us track our HP growth and not much else which is the areas we can spot the potential to improve. We are always learning on HIVE as the landscape is continuously changing especially after the last Hard Fork which knocked curation earnings by a good 20-25%.

I need to comment more and this is an area that can be improved considerably and one of the areas I will definitely target next year. Not being able to post daily like I had done in previous years was a given with all the travelling I have done this year with 3 big trips this last year. Next year the must do trips will continue with the next one expected to happen in February and hopefully not sooner. The travel and posting are a tough mix when you are on the go for 16 hours with no sleep each time you arrive at the airport. I dread travelling and living so far away from Europe tis is going to be the expected sacrifice.

This year two new authors added to my top list which is good to see and I am sure this will change over time again next year. Others have obviously been added as well over the last 12 months as we continuously look to support others via curation. I know @seattlea was new and have tried to offer support plus the added bonus is his posts I find interesting. @gungunkrishu is like minded in his HIVE growth plus he is invested in 2 of the same crypto projects I have in my portfolio so we have common ground and share information which makes crypto life far easier.
