Joshua Takes The Easy Money
Last night Jake Paul took on Anthony Joshua in a sanctioned legitimate exhibition fight that took place in Miami. The fight purse of $184 million which is a big pay day was being shared between the fighters and is the reason why the fight took place and no other reason. Anthony Joshua could not have earned any easier money in his career. This should never have been allowed to take place and rules and regulations are in place to protect the fighters.
The image above of an x-ray is Jake Paul's jaw after the fight broken in two different places. The jaw required surgery with two titanium plates along with the removal of some teeth. This is not a brave action by Jake Paul and is just seriously dumb.
Everyone knows when Jake Paul fought 63 year old Mike Tyson and won that the fight was rigged. Tyson set up to deliver a right hook and bailed from pulling the trigger. This was just a fake pay day for both fighters with Jake Paul having a contract that did not allow Tyson to fight him properly.
Unfortunately the woke influencers who believe in this type of stuff thought Jake Paul actually had a chance last night. I never watched the fight besides a highlight reel showing Jake Paul's jaw being broken. The report stated that in the 6 rounds the fight lasted Paul tried to take down Joshua with 43 grapple moves. A proper referee would have not allowed this ,but then again this was not a proper fight and Paul was trying to survive the 8 rounds so he could claim a moral victory.
Joshua is not a great fighter even though he has been a two time World Champion in the heavy weight division. His problem is he has a glass jaw and cannot take a punch and every boxer knows this now. Maybe Paul thought he would get lucky in his delusional world except the big difference is he is no boxer and does not have a knock out punch.
I have never seen a jaw broken in this fashion that the entire row of teeth had moved and were displaced and were more towards the middle of the mouth. He was lucky he went down when he did as one more punch to the jaw could have resulted in a total jaw rebuild.
Paul the delusional idiot thinks he can challenge for the middle weight belt in the future. Those that follow boxing know this bely used to belong to such legends like "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler, Leonard Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard. The difference in this division compared to the heavy weight division is the speed of the boxers hands and if you are not a fighter with boxing skills you will be badly beaten.
The titanium plates in the jaw on both sides is problematic as it now represents a target everyone knows exists. Once you step up into the professional leagues away from the safety of your protected influencer fights you will be found out very quickly. Boxing boards should not be allowing this fool to fight and money should not be his entry ticket and needs to start at the bottom and work his way up if allowed. You cannot buy talent and skills that take years to hone and perfect before deserving to fight for world titles.

" the entire row of teeth had moved and were displaced and were more towards the middle of the mouth" damn just reading it is painful, its been a while since I have seen boxing, use to watch a lot when I was a kid since my father was huge boxing fan but as I started getting older part of the sport as many others jump the hype train of social media and then we got things like this, but yeah seen that picture is insane
I used to love watching boxing and very rarely watch it today as it is not the same sport it once was.
Paul was stupid to even be in there, and of course Joshua took the easy money. Joshua has a knock out punch and Paul most definitely does not. This might be the end of Paul's career after this injury and weakness exposed. It might be time for him to ride off into the sunset, but I doubt he will. He likes the attention too much, and the cash as well.
He's free to be an idiot if he likes, at least until it kills him!
any other fighter would have had points taken away, been warned, and then the fight would have been called off. It was bizarre. It was a contest of one man trying to get away all the time while an actual boxer is just slowly but surely continually tracking him down... as soon as AJ closed the distance Jake would clinch, do some sort of leg take down something or other, and even faked a low blow on one occasion.
That was a very strange affair but at least it had the devastating ending that we all wanted.
Yes the ending was going to come and would have been much sooner if Paul had fought like a boxer.
it truly showcased the destructive power of a real boxer. Jake landed a few decent shots but it had no effect on AJ.. he's used to uneducated hands hitting him in the head. It was like nothing happened.
Yes it show cased this alright and highlighted the difference between a professional boxer and what I would call an amateur fighter.
Well, that was quite predictable. Like I said before Joshua is flawed, but he is a real boxer, Jake probably started diving as soon as he felt one of the first punches land. Though I don't know for sure as I only saw the highlights.
I did some boxing in my youth, and the only thing that stayed since then was my straight right and while I am much smaller than Joshua at only around two hundred ten pounds I have broken a few jaws with a single punch and knocked out large dudes easily, so I am not surprised this happened.
I just wish Tyson was not restricted in his fight as the videos all show him holding back. It is true not everyone has a knock out punch and you only find out when you throw it and land it.
