Hive Will Surprise Us All Again
When we look at the stats HIVE has had a slow year if we start comparing to other alt coins. Normally you can zoom out over the 12 months and HIVE doesn't look so bad, but unfortunately that is not the case now.
HIVE is ranked at 349 so saying we have a long road to climb is an understatement, but still we have to believe anything is possible from now until we see the ATH's next year. I would just like to see us havg more of a head start meaning we have less distance to travel in order to reach the ATH.
I do think HIVE can still do very well as most alt coins do perform even if they have nothing to offer and HIVE has loads. The biggest problem is HIVE ever makes the headlines and tends to fumble it's way through the cycle under the radar. We can always hope that at some point this all changes and HIVE can be recognized.
If we look at all the crypto's ranked in the top 350 there are only 50 that are still in the negative for the last 12 months and HIVE is one of them. This could all change over the next few months and HIVE does need to try and get ahead so we can start clawing our way back.
I did not realize how badly HIVE had performed until I compared HIVE against two other projects I am staked in. VET (VeChain) has done nothing much over the last 12 months and VET is up 43%. I think this highlights that all these stats are meaningless because HIVE is slowly gaining some momentum and could easily be in the green before the month end or early next month.
Like everyone else I am positive that HIVE can achieve a new ATH next year and believe we will all be left shocked again at how well HIVE does. Last cycle we went from a low of $0.08c and reached $3.41 so this time we have had a low of $0.16c so are double what we were in 2020 as a starting low. As a project we feel HIVE is undervalued for what it offers and does not get the recognition it deserves. I have been waiting for well over 6 years for mass adoption to happen and it still amazes me why HIVE hasn't grown like one would have expected.
I expect that next year we shall see the blockchain become busy again as returning users suddenly reappear which will signal the bull cycle has started.

Seeing Hive over $0.20 proves that we are on the right path with all the developments from here. Smart contracts will be the thing that will push this blockchain in a new era, so VSC project will get us there. We just need to keep on accumulating.
I just do not know what to believe any more and have heard smart contracts being spoken about for 6 years now.
Hope so. But I currently don’t expect us to see a new ATH again. There’s simply no real Killer DApp around like last time Splinterlands. We will rise yes but I expect a top at 1-2$ maybe. Which still would mean a 10x from we are now.
Wouldn’t be unhappy if we saw more of course but at the moment I am rather cautious. 😏
Yes cautious is best and then there is no disappointment. I think last time was more about the Koreans and not Splinterlands which I think had little or no impact on the price.
Yeah maybe the peak top at $3.41 might have been the Koreans. That would keep the hope alive that we will see higher prices this time too if these guys get involved again. 🤞🏻
Hive is one of the easier alt coins to pump due to low liquidity so I think the chances are very good again this time around. Just be ready to sell and take advantage.

I need to prepare for it! I have certain milestones to match that I would like to achieve while growing as much as possible!
Hopefully we will see ATH around October-November next year but it could happen earlier. The later the better I think as we have more chance to grow.

Indeed. I mean there are advantages and disadvantages to that... but I think that overall, the later the better.
I shall be doing my utmost to ride the bull/bear waves and of course, there should be a target for those waves beyond the next one as well.

We will see what happens. I would definitely enjoy going past $3, but I also saw that steem hit a high of around $11, and never reached those heights again....Hopefully hive can do better!
Yes I agree and small gains each cycle would be better than a big move never to be seen again.
