COTI Stake Passes 250K

Today my COTI stake ticked over the 250 000 mark and I am rather chaffed with this number. When I started out staking in the COTI Treasury never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be seeing these types of numbers. I guess this is what consistency and time brings as the numbers just kept on growing.

Achieving the 250K number now in January means according to my calculations I am literally 3 months ahead of target and we still have 3 weeks of January remaining which could see the final tally for this month pass 260K. Over the last year I have been averaging roughly a 9K COTI growth per month which is 4K more than the average monthly growth for the last 3 years. The average is bound to slowly increase due to the compounding that takes place.

When I started staking other crypto outside of HIVE roughly 4 years ago it was more about having more of lees coins than more of less if that makes sense. I have seen so many others in crypto having dozens of coins with no real meaningful numbers. The idea behind this type of thinking is that you have enough coins so if the price does go up which it should if you did your homework correctly. I don't want just a great return, but ideally a life changing sum once I am done. That is the plan and why the growing of the stake has to continue and why one can never have enough.

What is next is 300K which should be completed by June if the growth continues at the same rater as the last 12 months. 300K at the last ATH for COTI would have the dollar value of the stake at around $200K and that is nowhere near enough and is not life changing. A decent number for sure ,but definitely $200K is more of a start than a finishing number. The dollar value with the privacy tech that has been developed over the last 18 months should see the ATH be way north of the last ATH and why growing the stake in crucial to the final number.

The lucky part with this investment is that the team have developed something that is very much needed and why this investment has worked out well. This may not seem like this yet as the price like all the other crypto is down by 96.74% from the ATH, but more importantly 291% above the all time low. Price has no bearing when you are accumulating and price is only of concern when it comes time to selling and we are so far off that number the number of coins is what counts for now.

What is funny is that things change over time and your thought process changes along with the stake growing. This started out as a stake trying to achieve the minimum staking amount of 15K and now this has surpassed 250K which is more than 16 x the original target. This is nuts and why we love crypto so much because everything we do changes over time and nothing ever remains constant.
