Accumulation Mode Ignoring Market Sentiment
The fear and greed index is called an index due to it taking and using many data sources which then combined is able to compile a figure. I have never used this as a crypto tool mainly down to being in accumulation mode for over 6 years. If I was trading then maybe that would be different, but wouldn't know as this means nothing to me right now.
When you are continuously growing your bags you don't really have time to follow what the market is doing unless there is a major dip. Every day follows the next and there is no change due to the targets you have in place and they need to be reached. I see all this market sentiment and noise as a distraction so I ignore this because that is not going to increase my bags.
Last night was the first time in months that I had a look around at the other prices of cryptos besides what I am stacking daily. The risk is you are tempted to invest in some other crypto and now is not the time to dilute your growth.
Seeing the likes of LINK and VET at what could be considered bargain prices makes little difference right now being 12-15 months away from the peak of this cycle. Why would you even think about changing tact now because it is too late to change. Would an extra 100 LINK be better right now or possibly adding another 12K COTI to my bag? COTI wins hands down even though I know LINK is a great project. 100 LINK would make no big difference to my portfolio even if it did a 25 x from here mainly as I believe COTI will do a 25 X with ease and would be disappointed if that is all it did.
I say too late even though we have a good 64 weeks or so yet to run, but creating a worthwhile bag can take many years and not many months. I am sticking to a plan that is all about having many of a few than a few of many. The way I see it if any investment is going to be life changing then you better make sure your bag is big enough to make that happen.
If someone had $50k invested over 25 various investments I would consider that a machine gun approach because there will be some hits and some misses. This person may get lucky, but I would rather have 5 investments of $10K having done research eliminating the other 20. Research is what I believe will be the difference whether you are successful or not or how successful those investments will do. We know most investments will do well next year, but there will be some that pop more than others.

It seems like THEMARKYMARK is dealing with some personal drama and mental issues, which might be causing them to spam us and others with baby pics, GIFs, and questionable content he's been doing the same for years. The fun doesn't stop there, as this seems to be a recurring theme with multiple online personas. The real question is, do we want to trust these drama-magnets with our hard-earned funds or any significant influence on Hive?

it's so, so concerning to see Blocktrades delegating 2+ million Hive power to Buildawhale, and Buildawhale is downvoting legitimate content
25 investments out of a sea of ~15,000 different cryptocurrencies doesn't look too narrow to me. Identifying the 5 out of 15,000 that will perform phenomenally would be indicate absolutely amazing research abilities.
Finding the cryptos that cross over into real world utility is where the research is which is easier said than done.
