Splinterlands Art Contest // Week 350//LAVA SPIDER

For last weeks contest I entered my version of The Lava Launcher. So this week I thought I would stick with the Lava theme and go with the Lava Spider.

I used this image as my reference, and as usual I used Poser13 to create this piece.

I started out with a spider web prop on top of a orange background.

I made a 3d mesh of a spider.

I added a really cool flame texture to the spider.

I added flame to the spider

Next I added my spider to the web.

Once I rendered the scene the texture that I used for the spider looked pretty intense, so I went with it.

Finally I added some red lighting and animated my scene, and it came out pretty good. But then again Spiders always look good on the internet, because they know how to use the web lol.
