The Good and Bad this Christmass : Finding Peace in Fresh Start

Hello, everyone. How was your Christmas? Later, at 12:00 a.m., the new year will have begun, and tomorrow will be 2026. What's your New Year's Resolution? Have you thought of anything? Lol. But I'm here to write what happened on my Christmas. This is the quietest Christmas I've ever had because of the little preparation and slightly sad.

On December 24, at 4 a.m., my husband was involved in accident while on his way to church; we had both planned to attend with my son. However, at 2 a.m., my son awoke up until 4 a.m., so my husband left. However, while traveling, the front tire of the motorcycle he was riding burst, causing it to lurch and go uphill.
That is why he got injuries to his hands and knees. I was so worried when I found out he had an accident that morning; I feel like I've lost my desire to enjoy the Christmas, huhu, but I'm still grateful because that's all he got in that accident, do I? Lol. And my toddler and I weren't together.
Anyway, even though my Christmas was a bit sad. There is still joy because we have moved house here in my own house. As I said, I fixed our house when I was still working, and finally I live in it now. Even though my father hasn't lived in it for a long time, it's still okay because I will be able to fix it little by little. For now I just have some things to buy, and I also fixed the electricity inside the house and also moved the meter here to the pole also near our house.

When I open the window, I see these green rice fields. The rice fields are still small and growing, but you can see the green color from a distance.

The breeze here is strong and cold, and you can really feel the peace, especially if you don't like noisy neighbours haha. We only have one house here and the houses are far apart. The only thing I dislike about our muddy road is that tractors use to dig rice fields pass right by our house. We had no choice but to avoid passing here because they used to pass here when all owners of the rice fields done planted rice, causing the outside of our house to become muddy.

On my way to our house to clean with my nieces and nephews, hehe, I noticed some small fish and enjoyed the clear water in the dam.

We're having a nice day here.

If other rice is growing, there is also a rice field that has recently been planted.

We had pandesal and batchoy as snacks after cleaning up. Hehe, my niece's and nephews had a great time and were full.
We've only been in our little house for two days, and now we're celebrating the new year here. Having your own home allows you to live a more peaceful life and sleep comfortably. So I'm very blessed in 2025; hopefully, there will be more blessings in 2026. Advance Happy new year, everyone. 🫶🏻🤍
