It was my first experience riding a train and seeing Baclaran Church at night
After the birthday of my son My husband and I decided to go to Baclaran Church instead of Quiapo the next morning, because of what's happening here in the Philippines regarding politics. It is safer to visit Baclaran Church, but we left in the afternoon because we always get up late, lol.
We took the bus to the MRT terminal, but when my husband asked someone to sit down and he stood up, my son looked at the passenger as if she had taken his father's seat, so we laughed haha.
I took this while traveling..
After getting off the bus, we walked to where we could get train tickets; to be honest, it was my first time riding a train in 27 years of my existence haha lol.
While getting the ticket, I'm a little excited because I'll finally be able to ride a train. I had only seen it in videos or TV shows before, but now I'm experiencing it! Yieee! Haha.
I see in person the people who are fighting to get to the front of the line and walking quickly to avoid being late, as well as the people who are tired from their various jobs and are getting on the train. The train is crowded, with many standing passengers, something I've only seen in movies and videos. Also I want to thank one passenger because she give her seat to me because I was carrying my baby, and she even talked with my baby.
After the train, we walked to the exit and out. Then, we walked on the road once more, and I discovered that it had rained because the road we were on was wet. We then rode an e-bike to Baclaran Church and paid fifty pesos.
We arrived at the church at six o'clock PM. When we asked the guard if there was still mass, he said it was only until 5:30 PM. Unfortunately, I didn't check what time the mass schedule was until, so that we don't go there.
According to my research, St. Therese of Lisieux, also called the "Little Flower of Jesus," was the first Saint we saw when we got to the church. Although I don't really know her to be honest, but I know her now that I've visited the church.
And behind there is something like an aquarium where you can throw coins to make a wish; theres nothing to lose if you try, right? From what I can tell, many people have tried this because there are so many coins scattered inside that the water flows through.
We entered the church, which is one of the largest Catholic churches I've seen, and even after the mass had ended, there were still many people inside praying. We prayed inside for a while, but it was hot and my son was noisy, so we went outside.
And we saw this outside: a statue with a man holding the woman's waist and the woman kneeling, starring at the man as if they were hugging and naked. I really don't know about this, I'd appreciate it if anyone could explain this. Thanks in advance. :)
After that, we went out to look for a vehicle to ride in when I saw someone selling balloons with lights that were being given to my son. Luckily, my son wasn't interested yet and ignored it, haha. When this was popular, I was one of the ones who wanted to receive it lol haha, but now I'm contented that I took a picture of it; it's so cute, right? If I still can't get this, I'll just buy it and give it to my son. Hahaha lol.
That's all for today, I'm so thankful for my husband because he knows where we're going and keeps us from getting lost, so I get to experience the places we both go, hehe.
If anyone want to go here just use a Google maps or Waze also " si Magta " it means always asked if you don't know the place or where you going.
Thanks for reading..

Eyyy, buti kapa naka experience na mag train, kamusta naman akong 31 na 🫠🫠 haha. And what a wonderful trip that is with your lil fam. San di nyo naabot ang misa. Visit nalanh ulit next time. And marami rin palamg makikita outside. Like after mass you can take a stroll outside and just enjoy the view. And I think going there at night is also good, nakaka enjoy din ang pailaw sa labas.
Haha Ngayon palang dear, sa tagal-tagal ko ng gusto makasakay hahaha.
Oo dear marami nag bebenta sa labas diyan Yung mga murang paninda na pinapamili sayang nga e, walang budget para don. Hahaha
The pictures look good in the bright light at night. However, some of the pictures are blurry. Overall, I enjoyed reading your blog.
Sorry for the blur photo, but Thankyou for passing by.

What a memorable visit! Its lovely that you got to explore Baclaran Church safely with your family and your son’s reaction made it even more fun.

Wednesday is known as Baclaran Day and it gets super crowded since many people go for mass. If you plan to visit on a Wednesday, better go there early! :D

I never experience riding a train because I am scared watching the accident last 2003. I been there in Baclaran church. So many people come and visit that church and believed that many people received there prayer request.
Hindi ko po alam Yan, ano po nangyare dun? Sayang nga po e, Hindi Kami nakaabot Ng mass.
I love trains, but this was jam packed with people and what I would call a subway train. It's all good though!
