Oh yes, I do see those chilis. I didn’t grab a photo of the ones the kids picked but they were pretty red. So do the green ones have less heat than the red? I’m curious to know why your mom likes the less ripened ones better.

Okay so I must confess I have never eaten eggplant before but I’m seeing they are a favorite amongst many gardeners here. You captured them so well and they do look beautiful and amazing. I might take some time to look up recipes for them and consider growing some for us.

I have never heard about using wood ash. I took some time to look it up and I see there are many great uses for it. I also read that it helps balance the pH of acidic soil. My parents have a fireplace at their house and now that I know about this I can have him save some for me. I would love adding this to our garden at the beginning during our tilling process. Thanks so much for this tip.

I enjoyed reading about your garden ~

So sorry for the late reply dearest.🄺

The green ones have less heat but they have more flavour. I can't explain it but that's what we've noticed. It gives the meal a more exotic flavour than the red ones which is just a lot more heat.

I'm glad you liked the tip. It was a recent discovery but it has proven really helpful in the garden. I'll be looking forward to whenever you decide to grow egg plants. And it's been such a pleasure having you here @crosheille. Thanks you so much for stopping by.šŸ¤—
