MY FASCINATING EXPERIENCES WITH ALL THE MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION

I curiously sat one day and thought about how life would have been like if there were no modern means of transportation. We would have been stuck with travelling on foot and taking canoes to the places our feet can't take us. I was genuinely grateful for modernization and all the brilliant minds that put everything together so life could be easier for their predecessors.
Out of the three known means of transportation; Land, air and water, I have never explored travelling by air and I look forward to it so much. The closest I have been to an airplane was when I saw my cousins off to the airport when they were relocating to another country. I have always been fascinated by anything related to travelling by air. In fact, in alternate world, I would definitely be a air hostess or a super rich lady touring the world. I guess I can still be the later in this world, it has always been a dream of mine to explore the world.

I daydream about it sometimes, and I think anytime I eventually experience, I will be filled with so much excitement and happiness. I would feel as though I have no other problem in this world, that moment won't be stolen away by any other kind of thoughts. I would love to sit by the window side anytime I travel by air because I would want to enjoy the view and watch as we fly in between the clouds. Honestly, I could cry!!! I am not even kidding. When I finally have this experience, I will document every second of it so I never forget what it felt like. Also, I think I will have that airsickness, even elevators make my head feel so light.

Now, let's talk about travelling by water! It is still one of the most fascinating experiences I have ever had in my life. It was in the year 2020 and in the month of october, my elder cousin wanted to take me to a beach to serve as his birthday gift to me. I was super excited because I love the beach so much and I have only been to one just once in my entire life. That was going to be my second visit to the beach and unlike the first one I went to, we had to board a boat to reach this one.
Honestly, I was not prepared for it! I was scared and excited at the same time, I love doing things I have never done before. We were given life jackets and I entered the boat. It was scary at first because the boat was shaking maybe due to balance and all that, but the driver or padler in this case told me calm down and led me to a seat; my brother sat beside me. It was actually a speed boat and when it started moving, I screamed with excitement and even made videos.

Who can escape the power of intrusive thoughts in moments like this though? Well, definitely not me! I had so much stupid thoughts creeping into my mind even in the midst of the whole excitement. It got worse when some officers wanted to come down at a point that wasnt the final stop and the boat started shaking seriously. I was so scared and all these thoughts got worse. 'what if the boat capsize?', 'what if sharks and other harmful sea creatures hurt us', 'OMG, I don't even know if I can swim or not' --so many wild thoughts. We eventually got to the beach in one piece and I had a great time. I have been to that beach after that partcular day but those other times, my "boat passenger" game was already lit and was a walk in the park. I was even the one calming first timers down, lol.

Travelling by land is what I have done all my entire life, there are a million tales to tell, lol. Whenever I need to travel whether within my state or to other states, I travel by car or by bus. I actually love road trips, especially if it a really long distance. It is very funny that I do have motion sickness, but then, I don't care at all. I have actually been craving a long road trip but I don't know how possible that can be, especially at this time. Travelling makes me really happy, I take in all the views and imagine the stories attached to the buildings, forests, waters and people that we pass by. I have never travelled by rail as well, but then, I hope to have that experience soon enough.
The fantasy means of transportation I would love for it to become real
That will be teleportation! As much as I love the experience of travelling normally, this one will be very fascinating and will come in handy in the face of urgency and emergencies. I would be able to go anywhere in the world without stress, think of how amazing that will be. If I am in bad mood, I will just teleport myself to Italy to have some Pasta. Or to Dubai to swim with dolphins, or to New York to the Times Square to check if something will lift my mood up there🤣 See, I would be the next wonder woman!🤣

Pearl and Italy, 5 and 6. As for me, I have only travelled by land all my life. I have never been on a boat or in an airplane. But I know that one day, I will have all these experiences.
Don't worry, you will have that boat experience this year. I assure you😌
For you to see your mind… are there sharks anywhere in Nigeria? 🤣 but that’s the power of intrusive thoughts. Lol
🤣🤣🤣 Don't mind me.
But really, there will be sharks in Nigeria naw, the ocean is so vast and connected to other oceans.
Ever heard about sharks being caught? 😂 if that one happens, you can trust Nigerian government and their grubby hands to use it for shit
Lol, I have actually never heard of it😂

Alas if only there was teleportation, even from work to office and back, I would be the happiest person in the world, as would anyone else who is always stuck in traffic :)
I love all modes of travel too. My first time in a plane was a short ride but I had my face plastered to the window throughout the ride, though all i could see were the same old clouds. Now I prefer aisle seat but still try to gaze out the window whenever I can. It is truly magic to consider that a metal tube is shooting through the air with people in it :D I do want to have a helicopter ride someday.
All other modes of transportation are very similar to mine. I have never travelled by ship, even cruise ship, though i did visit an anchored merchant ship ones, and loved it.
Other than ships I have enjoyed small canoe like boats to ferries carrying vehicles over the backwaters of my country. As you said, it was scary and fun.
Finally for the land one i am not a big fan of buses. I appreciate their flexibility but have a major problem with the lack of rest rooms :D Hence my favorite for long distances are trains. I love trains, especially when not fully filled (or over filled). The rhythm of the tracks, the rocking of the train cabin, the snack eating and playing games with your fellow passengers, it is a load of fun.
Ah, you made me think of travelling again :D
Cheers from a fellow #dreemerforlife
🤣🤣 Teleportation would be so nice if it were possible, for real. I imagine the things that would be possible and damn, it is fascinating.
Oh wow, I didn't know there are people that prefers the aisle! I want to sit with someone like you, so I can just switch seats in case I didn't get the window seat by the time I get to travel by plane. The technology behind planes do fascinate me as well!
Glad I made you think of travelling, I do hope you get to travel somewhere soon. Thank you so much for your amazing comment.
