Today I'm going to try to convince you that my simple strategic roadmap can lead you to victory!

Those who follow my posts know that I really like the weekly challenges and I keep switching between card reviews and complete compositions! Now with the battle challenge change, I've verified that it's still explicitly valid to share battles within the weekly media challenge. I think it's very productive, and serves the purpose of getting the game into the trending topics.

CRAZY'S STRATEGIC ROADMAP

I'm tweaking this little four-step guide that's intended to help you improve your Splinterlands performance. Today I would like to pay a little more attention to point number 1. Let's go?

1. BATTLE HISTORY ANALYSIS

In every battle, I suggest as the first point to be analyzed the opponent's history of previous battles. That's basic strategy for Splinterlands lovers, I dare say it's a mandatory step to success.

In old posts, I took screenshots while playing. Very few battles turned into a post.

Now, I stopped capturing the screen while I was playing, so as not to waste time or lose focus. So, after deciding to post with a certain battle, I look for the opponent's match history, looking at their profile.

This image shows the opponent's last six battles, one of which is the one I fought with him. See that there are two repeating splinters: Water and Earth. I can tell the levels of his cards by selecting them, I notice that his summoner Bortus is level 5. This is unusual as Bortus is not the titular summoner of the Water splinter.

I also realize, and this is superstition, that your battles are water / water / earth / earth / water / ? and I automatically think that, if human beings have that obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), surely the next battle will be water! That is, I was able to observe a pattern of behavior, which may or may not be real.

Analyzing your opponent's battle history is essential if you play Splinterlands! This and other little things can help you win the match! Come with me!

2. RULESET ANALYSIS

The second point I suggest you analyze is regarding RuleSet. This will vary from game to game and there is no easy recipe, you'll just learn by doing.

This "Silenced Summoner" battle rule totally changes the dynamics of the game, so there's no way to go unnoticed. And here we have an extra point of mana at stake, because as we know the opponent tends to use splinter Water, where usually the summoner costs 4 Mana points, while having no attribute to distribute to the team, it makes no sense to invest Mana on summoner Kelya Frendul, leaving the obvious choice with Bortus as it saves a point of Mana.

Those who play in leagues above Gold cannot have this guarantee, but in this stratum players do not usually have summoners other than the so-called starters, even if rented.

The thornbush rule induces us to avoid melee monsters, which makes it natural to associate the Water splinter with a full magic team. To face an opponent like that, nothing better than Bortus and Djinn Oshannus, even if Bortus doesn't reduce the enemy's magic attack, at least we'll save one point of Mana!

3. SUMMON AVAILABILITY

My main invokers are:

• Kelya Frendul level 5, my own.
  My main investment in the game so far.

• Thaddius Brood level 5, rented.
  My favorite, because this element is what I've dedicated the most to since launch.

• Obsidian level 3, located.
  It has been enough to sustain the Earth element battles, considering that it is not my goal to acquire cardss of this element at the moment.

• Bortus level 3, located.
  A differential to be able to exploit careless opponents who insist on using Kelya in situations that exploit magic.

• Possibilus the Wise level 2, located.
  First season I trade my Brighton Bloom location for another summoner. I've been enjoying the possibilities of using this card!

• Eternan Brune level 3, my own.
  Thanks to my luck in seasonal chests.

• Pembrook Nymph GoldFoil level 3, my own.
  Thanks so much Splinterlands! I loved this summoner!

My other available summoners are at level 2, being unsuitable for use in the Gold League. Since I only play in Modern mode, keep in mind that some summoners and cards are not available.

The ruleset analysis is linked to the availability of invokers. What the opponent will use, and what I have available.

As the title of the post might have suggested, I chose Bortus level 3 because it's cheaper relative to the mana cost!

4. YOUR STRATEGIES

The fourth point I recommend looking at is exploring your game strategies. Do you have any?

In this set of rules, individual skills are highlighted.

I have a strategy for facing this type of battle, which is based on sacrificing one possible benefit in battle in favor of another. After the release of the Martyr ability around March 2023, this sacrifice strategy became literal.

In this case, I applied the strategy I call the Sacrifice Strategy, represented by handing over the card Venari Marksrat for direct elimination in favor of boosting the attributes of another card: Djinn Oshannus.

The choice of the appropriate card to occupy the first position was not difficult, being chosen the Djinn Oshannus for its magic attack power not triggering the thorns, also for the possibility of additional evasion even to the magic attack and high speed.

The plan is based on eventually dodging an opponent's attack, getting healed for as long as possible, while eliminating some cards through Deeplurker's Opportunity.

The sacrifice of Venari Marksrat makes sense as we hope to face an opponent with Djinn Oshannus as well, and leveraging the attributes of our Djinn will tip the balance of the game in our favor.

And another... more speed... more chances of magic evasion!

I went into battle expecting victory...

ADVERSARY TEAM

The opponent chose summoner Bortus level 5, which was no surprise!

At the forefront Baakjira at level 2, followed by Djinn Oshannus, as expected, at level 2! The healer Merdaali Guardian, Axemaster, Igor Darkspear and the distraction Torrent Fiend complete the team.

The opponent's strategy was very well put together, but my counter-strategy is clearly better.

The image above shows the opening of Round 1, after the buffs and debuffs of the cards.

Thanks to Baakjira's speed reduction, the opposing Djinn Oshannus starts with 5 speed, and is the first to attack! I patiently wait for the sacrifice to be eliminated in order to reap the benefits of its death.

I eliminate opponent cards while I suffer damage concentrated on my Djinn Oshannus, being completely restored by the healer. Three dodges happen on the part of my Djinn Oshannus until we reach the following situation:

The damage dealt by the opponent is one point per attack, while I deal two points per attack. The game has been set.

Everything goes as planned and the match ends with my victory.

POSTER ANALYSIS

The opponent made no mistakes.

I could easily have used the same lineup as him.

The difference was my extensive analysis of the rules that determined the flow of battle, with the previous history of the opponent being decisive for my choice of summoner and monsters.

I was prepared for the team that performed.

So I conclude that my counter-strategy has outplayed the opponent, and I recommend you to invest more time in analyzing the opponent's past battle history to get results similar to mine!

In this way I was victorious in this application of the Sacrifice Strategy!

ROTEIRO ESTRATÉGICO DO CRAZY

Eu estou aprimorando este pequeno guia de quatro passos que pretende ajudar você a melhorar seu desempenho no Splinterlands. Hoje eu gostaria de dedicar um pouco mais de atenção ao ponto número 1. Vamos lá?

1. ANÁLISE DO HISTÓRICO DE BATALHAS

Em toda batalha sugiro como primeiro ponto a ser analisado o histórico de batalhas anteriores do adversário. Isso é estratégia básica para amantes de Splinterlands, ouso a afirmar que é um passo obrigatório para o sucesso.

Em posts antigos, eu realizava a captura da tela enquanto jogava. Pouquíssimas batalhas viravam uma postagem.

Agora, eu deixei de capturar a tela enquanto eu jogava, para não perder tempo nem perder o foco. Então, após decidir realizar a postagem com determinada batalha, eu busco o histórico de partidas do adversário, olhando seu perfil.

Essa imagem mostra as últimas seis batalhas do adversário, sendo que uma delas é a que batalhei com ele. Veja que existem dois splinters se repetindo: Água e Terra. Eu posso saber os níveis de suas cartas ao selecioná-las, percebo que seu invocador Bortus é level 5. Isso é incomum, pois Bortus não é o invocador titular do splinter Água.

Percebo também, e isso é superstição, que suas batalhas são água / água / terra / terra / água / ? e automaticamente penso que, se o ser humano possui aquele transtorno obsessivo compulsivo (TOC), certamente a próxima batalha será água! Ou seja, eu consegui observar um padrão de comportamento, que pode ser real ou não.

A análise do histórico de batalhas do adversário é essencial se você joga Splinterlands! Essa e outras pequenas coisas podem te ajudar a vencer a partida! Vem comigo!

2. ANÁLISE DO RULESET

O segundo ponto cuja análise sugiro que você faça é quanto ao RuleSet. Isso vai variar em cada partida e não tem uma receita fácil, você só vai aprender fazendo mesmo.

Esta regra de batalha "Invocador Silenciado" altera totalmente a dinâmica do jogo, então não tem como passar despercebido. E aqui temos um ponto extra de mana em jogo, pois como sabemos o adversário tem tendências a utilizar splinter Água, onde geralmente a invocadora custa 4 pontos Mana, ao passo que não tendo nenhum atributo para distribuir ao time, não faz sentido investir Mana na invocadora Kelya Frendul, sendo que resta a escolha óbvia com Bortus pois assim economiza um ponto de Mana.

Quem joga em ligas acima de Gold não pode ter essa garantia, porém neste estrato os jogadores não costumam ter invocadores diferentes dos chamados starters, mesmo que alugados.

A regra espinheiro nos induz a evitar monstros melee, o que faz natural associar o splinter Água com uma equipe full magic. Para encarar um adversário assim, nada melhor que Bortus e Djinn Oshannus, ainda que o Bortus não reduza o ataque mágico inimigo ao menos vamos economizar um ponto de Mana!

3. DISPONIBILIDADE DE INVOCADORES

Meus principais invocadores são:

• Kelya Frendul level 5, meu próprio.
  Meu principal investimento no jogo até o momento.

• Thaddius Brood level 5, alugado.
  Meu preferido, pois este elemento é o que mais me dediquei desde o lançamento.

• Obsidian level 3, locado.
  Tem sido suficiente para sustentar as batalhas do elemento Earth, tendo em vista que não é meu objetivo adquirir cards deste elemento no momento.

• Bortus level 3, locado.
  Um diferencial para poder explorar adversários descuidados que insistem em utilizar a Kelya em situações que exploram magia.

• Possibilus the Wise level 2, locado.
  Primeira temporada que troco minha locação do Brighton Bloom por outro invocador. Tenho gostado das possibilidades de uso deste card!

• Eternan Brune level 3, meu próprio.
  Graças a minha sorte em baús de temporada.

• Pembrook Nymph GoldFoil level 3, meu próprio.
  Muito Obrigado Splinterlands! Eu adorei essa invocadora!

Meus demais invocadores disponíveis estão em level 2, sendo inadequados para o uso na Liga Gold. Como eu jogo apenas no modo Modern, lembre-se que alguns invocadores e cards não estão disponíveis.

A análise do ruleset é ligada a disponibilidade dos invocadores. O que o adversário vai utilizar, e o que eu tenho a disposição.

Como o título do post pode ter sugerido, eu escolhi Bortus level 3 pois ele é mais barato em relação ao custo de Mana!

4. SUAS ESTRATÉGIAS

O quarto ponto ponto que eu recomendo analisar é explorar as suas estratégias de jogo. Você tem alguma?

Neste conjunto de regras as habilidades individuais estão em destaque.

Eu tenho uma estratégia para enfrentar este tipo de batalha, que é baseada em sacrificar um possível benefício em batalha em favor de outro. Após o lançamento da habilidade Martyr, aproximadamente em março de 2023, essa estratégia do sacrifício virou literal.

Neste caso, apliquei a estratégia que eu chamo do Estratégia Sacrifício, representada pela entrega para eliminação direta do card Venari Marksrat em favor de potencializar os atributos de outro card: Djinn Oshannus.

COMPONDO O TIME

Estratégia Sacrifício

É quando você voluntariamente se coloca numa posição de desfavorável, que seria improvável, evitando que o adversário possa prever seu time corretamente, surpreendendo-o.

A escolha do card apropriado para ocupar a primeira posição não foi difícil, sendo eleito o Djinn Oshannus pelo seu poder de ataque mágico não acionar os espinhos, também pela possibilidade de evasão adicional mesmo ao ataque mágico e velocidade elevada.

O plano é baseado em eventualmente esquivar algum ataque adversário, receber cura pelo maior tempo possível, enquanto eliminamos alguns cards através do Opportunity do Deeplurker.

O sacrifício do Venari Marksrat faz sentido pois esperamos enfrentar um adversário com Djinn Oshannus também, sendo que potencializar os atributos do nosso Djinn será o que vai desequilibrar a balança do jogo para o nosso lado.

E outra.. mais velocidade.. mais chances de evasão mágica!

Fui para a batalha esperando a vitória...

TIME ADVERSÁRIO

O adversário escolheu o invocador Bortus level 5, o que não foi nenhuma surpresa!

Na linha de frente Baakjira em level 2, seguido do Djinn Oshannus, conforme previsto, em level 2! Completam o time a curandeira Merdaali Guardian, Axemaster, Igor Darkspear e a distração Torrent Fiend.

A estratégia do adversário foi muito bem montada, porém a minha contra-estratégia claramente é melhor.

A imagem acima mostra a abertura do Round 1, após os buffs e debuffs dos cards.

Graças à redução de velocidade da Baakjira, o Djinn Oshannus adverário parte com velocidade 5, e é o primeiro a atacar! Espero pacientemente pela eliminação do sacrifício a fim de obter os benefícios de sua morte.

Vou eliminando os cards adversários enquanto sofro dano concentrado em meu Djinn Oshannus, sendo completamente restaurando pela curandeira. Três esquivas acontecem por parte do meu Djinn Oshannus até chegarmos na seguinte situação:

O dano causado pelo adversário é de um ponto por ataque, enquanto eu causo dois pontos por ataque. O jogo foi definido.

Tudo sai como planejado e a partida acaba com a minha vitória.

ANÁLISE POSTERIOR

O adversário não cometeu erros.

Eu poderia facilmente ter utilizado a mesma escalação que ele.

A diferença foi minha extensa análise das regras que determinaram o fluxo da batalha, sendo o histórico anterior do adversário determinante para minha escolha do invocador e dos monstros.

Eu estava preparado para o time que se apresentou.

Então concluo que minha contra-estratégia superou o adversário, e recomendo a você que invista mais tempo analisando o histórico de batalhas anteriores do adversário para obter resultados semelhantes aos meus!

Desta forma fui vitorioso nesta aplicação da Estratégia Sacrifício!
